Masterpiece? Pretty damn close.

Nice review.

Seven Cities of Gold is kick ass. There are some similarities with Virtuality musically but there is no comparison to the awesomeness that is SCOG.

I love this album as much as I love Power Windows. I'm not pretending. Some might disagree but I think CA is a powerful work by a band that has been together for 38 years, which is extremely remarkable and rare. But, then again, maybe I just like shit.

You Just Know that CA "Works" For You When...

It sucks even worse for me, it's a 20 minute drive to work. That's pretty much Caravan - The Anarchist. -

I like VT and S&A but I LOVE Clockwork Angels.

I just love how swings. Geddys bass, Neils cow bell and incredible drumming, Alexs insane noodling in to another incredible riff, it definitely has a 70s feel.

The title track is a lot to soak in but once it does, it's a hellava ride!

While driving home after picking up dinner last night, I saw a truck hauling a funnel cake stand that you see at fairs. Threw on Carnies instantly.

After hearing this album and going back to listen to S&A, there are some very good songs on S&A but there aren't any EPICS like CA has. The title track, The Anarchist, Headlong Flight, Seven Cities of Gold, The Garden; those are epics. I also like that most of the songs on CA melt my face off.

I'm telling you there are no duds on this album. Even the weaker Wish Them Well is awesome especially with it's message.

Goosebumps on goosebumps with Clockwork Angels. Started out as an Alex soundscape. Incredible.

Playing the single version of BU2B as well.
