  1. QUOTE (rushgoober @ Jun 20 2012, 09:47 PM) QUOTE (Devon @ Jun 20 2012, 06:58 PM) QUOTE (Jomboni @ Jun 20 2012, 10:40 AM) Interesting note that the fan pack sales aren't counted in the totals. Nor will they be. The Classic Rock Fanpack is considered a magazine sale (that just happens to feature a CD) and its sales will be counted as a UK magazine. Seriously? I thought that was an absolute given that those would be included. If that's truly the case, that profoundly sucks. I wish they could. One reason it might not work out is because it would skewer how the sales in UK are counted and give false indications as to how the album is doing there when a significant portion of them are not even being purchased in the UK, if you see what I mean. But it all also goes off that Barcode, and the Barcode will just register as a "Magazine." Unfortunately, from my previous experience, the Classic Rock publishing company does not release sales figures either. Although that doesn't stop someone else close to the band with that info from saying, but it usually doesn't happen.
  2. QUOTE (Gedneil Alpeart @ Jun 20 2012, 07:26 PM) I checked current Billboard 200 . Dont see CA anywhere. Did I miss it somewhere? As mentioned a few posts back, it will not show up yet. Those charts are usually not published for a few days (the chart on there now is probably from two weeks ago.) So needless to say guys, C.A. will be #2 since the chart publishing magazine just confirmed it. Look for the official charts next week.

  4. QUOTE (Hatchetaxe&saw @ Apr 16 2012, 01:14 PM) QUOTE (druid13 @ Apr 16 2012, 05:19 PM) So if I have this right the magazine on stands won't be the special Rush issue then? The reason I am worried about the fanpack is because hearing the delivery delays ( 2weeks) and I will be moving in June...don't want it lost in the mosh. No, it will be on the stands, alongside the standard CR. What happens here is normal newsagencies will stock a small amount, music stores will have bigger amounts. If druid13's timezone info is correct on their location, they are in the U.S. or Canada and this is not the same for them. Please keep in mind that the FanPacks are *not* available in stores in the U.S. or Canada (or anywhere else outside of the UK if I recall correctly.) Thus they have to be special ordered. Also to anyone out there considering it, as they did with the Alice Cooper Fanpack (and probably the other ones) if you pre-ordered by a certain date through the MyFavouriteMagazines site that you could get your name on a poster that is included. But it has to be ordered through that website and before a certain date, not Amazon or anywhere else.
  5. QUOTE (druid13 @ Apr 12 2012, 09:57 AM) How much are the fan packs in American Dollars? Also there is a store close to me that gets classic Rock Magazine...is it likely they will also have fanpacks and or just the magazine itself? That would be cool. The Fanpacks (nor the included special edition magazine) are not available in-stores outside of UK. They have to be ordered online. Just a word to the wise, don't count on the special-ordered fanpacks for any kind of "early release" outside of the UK. They can take a while. Having experience with some of the nightmares (no pun intendeD) the Alice Cooper fanpacks had this past summer I think some people are still waiting on theirs (I'm kidding of course... but it was a bit of a mess, the fanpacks were stopped by customs in some cases, things were missing that should have been included, etc.) Not to say the Rush fanpacks will encounter similar issues or anything, just a bit of a caution is all.
  6. Hi guys, new poster (but long long time lurker here.) Just wanted to chime in that there will probably be a 30 second preview of the song available on that Amazon link before the single is available (as a different 30 second cut than what was released last week.) So keep on the look out for a possible teaser from Amazon throughout the week, and of course we'll have the single before the week's end regardless!
