Operation Mindcrime got me through high school ... seriously. Its hands down their best album!! Hell, even Mindcrime II isn't bad.

Thanks for the 'Marley' trailer ......... looks great. I love absolutely all music docs! Does anyone know whatever became of the Keith Moon doc that was supposed to star Mike Myers (believe it or not) in the lead role??

Here is a drawing that I did of Bob Marley with conte & vine charcoal. The original is 24"x30", which is much larger than my usual pencil drawings. This is a NEW Bob Marley visual, as I only based his head on a pre-existing photograph. The body is taken from a good friend of mine's, who has a similar bodytype to Bob. The background is from a photograph of Bob's property. Apparently, he wrote many songs under this actual tree in his yard. I improvised much of this drawing and love the results. I've had a great response from everyone, regarding my Geddy Lee drawing. Thanks for the kind words. Attached is my rendering of another Canadian rock legend, Neil Young. This original is 14"x17" and was created with 5 different pencil leads & acrylic pencil crayons for the subtle moonlight on his shoulders. I call this 'Harvest Moon'. I improvised the background to justify the title. Absolutely love Counterparts!!! The other 2 albums are pretty forgettable.

I just finished this Geddy drawing (14"x17") ... it clocked in at about 40 hours worth of work. I rediscovered my love of the album, 'Hold Your Fire' while drawing this. There isn't a weak song in the lot. I've always wanted to draw Geddy, as he's got a very expressive and unique face. Behind him, you can see his trademark, Fender Jazz Bass.
