Just for the hell of it, I wrote to Nels Cline, lead guitarist for Wilco, and to my utter shock and disbelief, I actually got a very personal response! I like bands whose members don't let fame go to their heads and actually care about their fans. He seemed like a real humble guy, and I have all the respect in the world for him! :D I had to share this experience, it was just too amazing!

I bought this album out of impulse when it came out, and now that it's had some time to sink in, I'm at a loss for words! Some of the members here suggested I get a couple PT albums, I did, but I was really anxious to hear more of SW's solo work, so I bought Insurgentes. It might be a cliché to say every track is perfect, but I truly believe it is! The setlist seems amazing, I just wish they were playing at a closer venue, (I might consider swapping the August Rush show for a SW show ;) ). Long story short, I've suggested this album to so many people and they've all loved it!

I like them very much. They seem like dedicated musicians who put out good stuff, so I listen! ;)

wait thats a real band? i always thought it was some sort of gimmick Nope, they're a real band. I couldn't get in because I didn't know the show was a 21+ show, so my friend and I basically stood outside the doors listening until we got kicked out. :( But what we heard was AMAZING!!

If it counts, here's an acoustic rendition of Wilco's Walken by frontman, Jeff Tweedy. This man has to be one of my favorite acoustic players, not so much because of his skill, but by his passion and song composition. Another good tune played by Jeff Tweedy Please Be Patient With Me Not sure if these count as "finger played songs" but I feel they are and I like them, so, enjoy! :)

I just learned how to play the title track on guitar and my sister is learning the piano part as we speak, she seemed hesitant at first when I asked if she would learn it until she heard me blasting the song and she asked, "What are the chords?" That's how I know an album is good when it gets my family involved :)
