Definately more. With the songs put in the context of the album, they all rock. I think the aditions to Caravan and BU2B make them better.... This album gets better each time I listen to it...and the best part is, it's not even a good quality copy...next Tuesday it will be like re-discovering the album all over again!

I am on this bandwagon for sure

QUOTE (ALifeson85 @ Jun 4 2012, 11:00 AM) Seems like so far I'm the only one who actually really LIKES the title track... Nope...me too. Loved Clockwork Angels Loved Halo Effect Loved The Wreckers Was actually a bit dissapointed in Carnies...after the opening riff, it kind of fell flat IMHO Of course still loved Headlong Flight The Garden was excellent as a finale

Hemispheres was one of the first 5 Rush albums I was exposed to...I became a fan when Presto came out...and within a month I had Presto, Hemispheres, 2112 and the first three dubbed from Vinyl...Hemispheres was the one I couldn't stop listening to...totally epic!
-
Well, classical music that is 200+ years old is still listened to, so i imagine it is possible

Which Rush album has gone the longest distance?
myturn2drive replied to Gedneil Alpeart's topic in Rush
Trick question...there is no Rush album that I ever hated. -
QUOTE (Gilbertk @ May 10 2012, 10:21 AM) QUOTE (The Mighty Dudad @ May 10 2012, 09:14 AM) No more CA music...but a reference to a "future album special" that it sounded like he and Geddy will be recording later today. Maybe they will premiere the full album and play interviews in between..? Maybe...and it will be aired on June 12th
-
Oops...that's right.
-
Also, I think it is awesome that they played three Rush songs during the interview and not a single one was Tom Sawyer, Limelight or Closer to the Heart
-
Well...Distant Early Warning is on...Ged is gone...no new material...what was that about an Album Special he was talking about?

QUOTE (Merely Space @ May 10 2012, 10:02 AM) QUOTE (HeadlongMark @ May 10 2012, 09:00 AM) QUOTE (Snaked @ May 10 2012, 08:59 AM) QUOTE (RUDT @ May 10 2012, 09:58 AM) did the DJ really said that CA was the first Rush's concept album? If so i think he is wrong... where the full album is a concept They had concept songs (2112, Hemispheres). They've never had a concept album. I think you could argue that RTB is a concept album. That would have to be a VERY convincing argument...I've never even heard that theory before
-
Yeah!!! Ozzy gets pushed back for Far Cry and MORE GED!!!
-
Ged says they took great care to make sure that, even though it is a concept album, the songs can also stand on their own individually.
-
..on a slightly (un)related note...this is my first time hearing the radio edit.....no sir, I don't like it...they took out too much
-
QUOTE (Gilbertk @ May 10 2012, 09:41 AM) I don't want to hear Headlong Flight I WANT TO HEAR GEDDY I'm good with both

...and Headlong Flight!!
-
No...U2 just ended...DJ said Ged has arrived and will be up shortly

QUOTE (Gilbertk @ May 10 2012, 09:33 AM) God I love this song (Bring it on Home). American radio sucks. We never hear any Led Zeppelin apart from Black Dog or Stairway here in Atlanta Agreed

I'm glad he's late...I just noticed this thread...online listening now... "Bring it on Home" by LZ currently playing
