  1. Bought 4 new CDs... Kamelot - Epica Blue Oyster Cult - Agents of Fortune Dead Kennedys - Frankenchrist Dead Kennedys - Bedtime for Democracy These purchases brought my CD total to 26, while my vinyl total remained at 123.
  2. It appears I'm late, but I could always pop it in the DVD player and try to catch up
  3. Best suspense movie I've seen in a long time. The twist at the end boggled my mind. I thought it was a great concept, much different from the typical teen slasher type flicks..... some of my friends watched it and are disturbed because of it. 4.5/5
  4. QUOTE (furie @ Mar 13 2005, 06:33 PM) sure they leave the possibility open for a sequel, everyone wants to a franchise. the difference with SW is that before ANH had hit the theaters, Lucas has begun to write ESB, and he had an inkling as to how RTJ would go. Sequels aren't as seamlessly integrated into the storyline like episodes 5 & 6. which makes them more than sequels. Point taken.... if we're going by that logic then, I guess my favorite sequel would be Psycho II... Edit: Actually no way, Austin Powers 2 was one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. Totally blew International Man of Mystery out of the water.
  5. QUOTE (furie @ Mar 13 2005, 06:22 PM) Empire Strikes Back and RETURN Of the Jedi don't count. they're not sequels, they are part of an intergrated story line. there was always meant to be three. a true sequel is produce after the first one is a sucess, and not before. a sequel is an afterthought given form. Yeah, but in all movies that have sequels, there's usually room LEFT for a sequel at the end of the movie... there isn't a clean, compact ending at the end of the first movie or else the sequel won't work anyway. And who's to say that there WOULD have been 3 Star Wars movies? What if A New Hope had premiered in the theatre, been a total box office bomb and Lucas decided to abandon the project because it wasn't financially smart to continue with additions to the series? In my opinion, any movie that adds to the storyline and comes after another movie is a sequel, and the Star Wars movies are no exception.
  6. QUOTE (RushGuru @ Mar 13 2005, 06:08 PM) QUOTE (Let The Fray Begin @ Mar 13 2005, 03:33 PM) There was this one Johnny Depp movie I watched a long time ago where he was addicted to opium and tracking down a killer who hunted down prostitutes in 1800s London.. some crazy doctor who belonged to a secret cult.. I don't think it was Kevorkian, but it was a really good movie. That was my favorite killer in a movie... I think that's called From Hell. Wasn't it about Jack the Ripper? Yeah, Jack the Ripper, that was it... my memory has been totally on the fritz these last couple days Great movie though.

  8. Most definetely The Empire Strikes back. The Godfather II was a good example too, but for me it didn't really stand up to the original, just personal preference Seeing the Death Star blow up for the first time in A New Hope was mind boggling... but Empire Strikes back was definetely a fun sequel.
  9. Its not smart, or correct, but its one of the things that makes us what we are
  10. Bah I don't get comedy central, only the canadian counterpart comedy network... and THEIR idea of a new show is putting on an Andy Dick reality TV show..... The Assistant or something odd like that. I don't want reality shows on my comedy channel! Wish i was getting your show
  11. QUOTE (Shane @ Feb 25 2005, 09:00 PM) Any Kamelot songs you guys would suggest? Kazzman suggested Center of the Universe as a good Kamelot starter song (Its the one that got him into the band) And I definetely agree... the song is metal, but its not typical metal... and the guy has a great voice have to hear to appreciate
  12. QUOTE (Slaine mac Roth @ Feb 25 2005, 12:38 PM) OK, try this one http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v110/Jimyyz2112/dad2.jpg He looks almost in pain... for that reason, I'm going to guess.. Where's My Thing?
  13. Yessssssss... this show is on EVERY day on the comedy network, and I wake up to it, sometimes watching it twice a day! Adventures With Bill is one of my favorite sketches, but I also love Ranger Gord and his incessant loneliness, Old Man Sedgewick (spelling?) getting animals stuck in his pants, and Red's incessant attempts to make kooky inventions out of household products! This is truly an innovative show, and one I have watched for a while now...... even the movie, Duct Tape Forever, wasn't half bad
  14. Finally, another one I know, and only because I curiously followed Danzig for a while because I liked the Misfits. Danzig - Her Black Wings
