  1. Yep, a friend of mine told me to check them out. Not bad at all.
  2. My God. I listened to the first link on my phone.. because I was out at the time. Sound was mehh. So I came home, intending to listen to that on these studio headphones I have.. But couldn't find it.. Finally, I was able to listen to the video with high quality shit, and holy God, it sounds incredible.
  3. First live show and you got that close? Lucky lucky :)
  4. Indeed. I posted a while back that The Garden really meant alot to me and helped me through the sudden passing of my mom, which was rough, especially with me being 17 when it happened. Mom was never a Rush fan, but she would have loved The Garden. The album also came out right around her death. The album as a whole means alot to me.
  5. Damn, I hope I'm on that DVD just once. So much.
  6. I'm going to need a priest, and a bullhorn.
  7. I just want to take a moment to thank everyone here on TRF. TRF is great for a variety of reasons, such as the fact that it seems as if all of us Rush nuts are rather mature, and can handle ourselves nicely here on the board. There are so many different topics that are discussed for a variety of different reasons. I have absolutely no clue what goes on here in this forum, but I do know that the same probably goes for many of you with regards to the sports board. SOCN is always great fun, because while it does have some negative energy, for the most part, it is rather constructive and fun to read. It also educates me on stuff I would have never thought I would be educated on. Now, I could go on, but these are just a few of the many reasons I have accumulated nearly 1800 posts. It seems as if, even though it is The Rush Forum, it is not a forum about Rush, but a forum of Rush fans, which makes it even cooler. Yes, we fawn over the members of the band, gripe over the setlist, and argue whether or not the synth era or Hemispheres era was better (clearly the Synth era), but we also have forum meet-ups and i've met a variety of awesome Rush fans on this board. So there is a fantastic element of Rush on here. So, here's to everyone who makes TRF possible. I hope it lives long and prospers, because I thoroughly enjoy it.
  8. So I just went and saw Gatsby in theaters, and I must say I enjoyed it because I'm in love with the times of the Roaring Twenties.. But I have to ask, was life really THAT prosperous and romantic back in that day? Discuss, I'd love to know your opinions.
  9. We go to the orthopedic dude on Monday. Not sure what to expect. As for the fracture, yes, it must be a hairline because I don't feel it.
  10. Got my MRI results back. They said its a torn ACL and a fracture of the femur.. Not sure how bad the fracture is though.. They didn't really say.
  11. Okay, I had my MRI Friday afternoon, and they said hopefully my results would be back tomorrow. Walking is easier, which is good. But I can not bend my leg much past 90 degrees at all and straightening it out is very painful too. That's my update.
  12. I find this all so funny because in my IB English class, we are reading "The Importance of Being Earnest".. So we watched the movie the other day, in class, and she is Cecily.. And all I could think was how stupid she looked in this whole incident.
  13. There were dozens of fans on the floor on Alex's side with signs that said "blah blah blah". That's what Geddy was referencing before Grand Designs.
  14. Fire and Flares in Caravan. But remember, pyro is venue specific. If the fire marshall doesn't let them set it off, they can't. They get inspected by the fire marshall before every show. So there won't be another explosion? I guess carnies is different because the explosion comes from te top of the stage.
  15. No pyro in Carnies.. Is there another explosion other than Red Sector A?
  16. I assume the B setlist will be in Austin, for the reason that the last show was just a few hours away in Houston, and they finished with A, right?
  17. I will! Thanks. And yes, Tylenol. Nothing strong.
  18. Last night i wasnt thinking at all when i put too much weight on the right knee and it just gave out and inalmost fell. Today I got up, and felt no pain at all! I was like yes! I've just been a whimp the past couple days. But then I tried to walk and it really hurt. It hurts when I try to bend it towards me, the pain is in the front left part of the knee, the right side of the knee. And the back. When I try to fully extend it, like at a 180 degree angle, the pain is in the back. When I push on the front left, it hurts pretty good, and also when I push on the right side of the knee.
