  1. I keep hearing it going to commercial in these different games. Obviously some Rush fans in the production dept. on these networks.
  2. Most expensive Rush tickets ever, for shortest Rush show ever....
  3. Cinderella Man The Analog Kid Prime Mover
  4. QUOTE (go2wrk@95974 @ Aug 16 2011, 08:52 PM)Who you callin beer snob, chump? Not you dip stick....I was calling Ancient Ways a beer snob.
  5. QUOTE (Babycat @ Aug 16 2011, 06:15 AM)The only thing I know about this new version is that it has Andy Serkis (LOTR) and Tom Felton (Draco from Harry Potter) in it. Or have I read that wrong? You are correct, they are both in the movie. I found this movie to be a lot better than I expected. Way, way better than the 2001 Tim Burton remake. This was more of a prequel/reboot. Yes, the apes are all CGI'd, but that didn't bother me, I thought they were fairly realistic. I thought the movie was very good.
  6. QUOTE (Ancient Ways @ Aug 16 2011, 08:21 PM)QUOTE (go2wrk@95974 @ Aug 16 2011, 08:49 PM) I can't stand miller-lite..That sh*t tastes like puke. ((Drink anything lite..gotta question your sanity!)) ...guess that makes me a wuss..er..I mean puss.... ...OH WELL...hate that stuff. Miller Genuine Draft is my brew of choice. 4 of those will give you a decent buzz, depending on how fast you can knock'em down! isn't this kind of like saying you can;t stand the taste of dog shit, you prefer horse shit? funny post... gotta love those beer snobs.
  7. Curious if anybody read the article about Breaking Bad in the newest issue (dated 8/18/11) of Rolling Stone magazine? One of the main themes of the article was comparing Breaking Bad to some other highly regarded shows of the past few years, such as, The Sopranos, The Wire, Friday Night Lights, Deadwood and Mad Men. I think the best way to get to my point of why I'm posting this here is to give you a direct quote from the article.... " If The Sopranos was the Stones, and The Wire was Zeppelin, Breaking Bad is Rush. Walter White is just a geek trapped in a conform-or-be-cast-out world, riding on through the friction of the day. But he chooses to exercise his free will - if only by cooking up his private recipe for insanely strong blue meth "

  9. I don't know why, but Tom Sawyer has never been one of my favs....I'm not saying it's a bad song, but if I was going to rank my favorite Rush songs, TS would probably be about 60. I never understood how it came to be their "most famous" song. IMO, their signature song should be Limelight, Freewill or TSOR. That being said, I'm glad Red Barchetta is winning, it's one of my all time favorites, and no matter how many times I hear it, I never get tired of it. But I had to vote for VS, my favorite Rush song as of right now....but check back in a few weeks.
