Curious if anybody read the article about Breaking Bad in the newest issue (dated 8/18/11) of Rolling Stone magazine? One of the main themes of the article was comparing Breaking Bad to some other highly regarded shows of the past few years, such as, The Sopranos, The Wire, Friday Night Lights, Deadwood and Mad Men. I think the best way to get to my point of why I'm posting this here is to give you a direct quote from the article.... I don't know why, but Tom Sawyer has never been one of my favs....I'm not saying it's a bad song, but if I was going to rank my favorite Rush songs, TS would probably be about 60. I never understood how it came to be their "most famous" song. IMO, their signature song should be Limelight, Freewill or TSOR. That being said, I'm glad Red Barchetta is winning, it's one of my all time favorites, and no matter how many times I hear it, I never get tired of it. But I had to vote for VS, my favorite Rush song as of right now....but check back in a few weeks.
