  1. Poor Corona brewery! The stupidity of mankind expands faster than the universe these days.
  2. From 2010 up to 2016 they were a fantastic band. From 2017 onward, they're just a joke project to me. FUKK the Forge!!! signed Martin Persner, Simon Söderberg, Martin Hjertstedt, Henrik Palm, Mauro Rubino... aka, the Ghouls that were fired in 2016!
  3. All the best, mate!! Hope that Goatnut is not affected by the terrible tornados!??
  4. Happy Birthday, mate! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_gm4ds1GcI
  5. Happy belated Birthday, mate! Here's some great Krautrock for you! Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JfjX0fF_JYI

  7. That’s amazing brother. I saw Body Count at the Shoreline. Lolapolooza. After they played I decided to grab a beer. Upon walking up the concrete staircase I see some dude in a FUKK LAPD shirt. A white shirt with big blue letter. This guy had a hot chick on each arm. Then it dawned on me... It was ICE T!! Of course I have no fear meeting stars, well except for when I met Neil. But anyway I walked up to Ice T and tapped him on the shoulder. I said... “Hey Ice, I think you’re fuckinhg awesome!” He turned around and said..... “Thanks man” Epic! Haha, great story. Short but sweet encounter. You really should write a book about Rock'n'Roll on the road. You rock, Earl! Hey, watch that video above, the Jesus in the mosh pit is f***in' hilarious. I saw BC two times in 1992. Slam Fest baby! Great shows!
  8. Some Neo-prog band i'd assume. I'm not a big fan of that whole genre. sooooo dull. Mick LOL. I think Neil Morse is a great fan of them and mentioned them more than once as an influence. Maybe you will become a fan too if you check them out. They're around since the early, or mid eighties and they still release some good prog stuff. The new one is KILLER and should be right up your alley!! Yeah funny you brought up Neal Morse. Ted who is still in Enchant is also in Spock's Beard. Are you a fan of the Beard dude? I like them. I have everything by them but eh.... I brought up Neal Morse because Mick is a big fan. So now he said, he's not a fan of Neo Prog but listens excessively to Neil Morse. That's what made me laugh. I was a big Spock's Beard fan when they appeared on the scene. Saw them multiple times in the late nineties. One of the best experiences was an acoustic show of Nick and Neal in some Irish pub. There were not more than 30 people there that night. They played over 5 (!!!!!) hours. EPIC party! I also met Ted a few times. Remember the drinking contest story that I told you a while back? Ed Platt was the hardest one to beat! Heavy drinker!

  10. The new album is great! I love the idea that you get three versions of it in one box. I haven't heard the acoustic and the intrumental versions yet, but the regular album is pretty fantastic. Great early Genesis vibe.
  11. I knew it wouldn't take long till Eddie Dump has something to say. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOKfPx09e4U
  12. If you look closer you could also see snails and arrows... :smoke:
  13. Man...seeing that pic really makes it burn that I passed on attending. Why man why did you pass? 8+ hour drive, and I had seen them twice No excuse! I drove from north Georgia to Toronto, then on to Montreal to see them! Besides, seeing them at every stop still wouldn't have been enough! That's the spirit, man! Would love to hear more stories from that trip... R40 was an unbelievable experience for me. I flew in 9,297(google)km from Frankfurt to LA. I had no ticket when I first booked this flight, and somehow strangely a "TRF Angel" appeared. Right out of that nowhere I ended up somewhere, in Inglewood... Last show... 3rd row... Geddy's side!! I still can smell The Forum!!! :smoke: The greatest and most important Rock'n'Roll trip in my life! :rush: Thanks for the ticket, Gina!!! Thanks for the beers, brought all the way from Germany dude. They were tasty  It's a miracle to me how these bottles survived that long journey. Must be the proverbial quality of German workmanship. Deutsche Wertarbeit baby! Jealously Rules! Lol Man, it's a shame we haven't met. Would have turned the party from hardcore to epic! Lol :hail:

  16. Interesting - I often get ripped by friends and acquaintances for not downloading EVERYTHING. “Why are you even buying CDs in this day and age?” is the condescending question I’ve heard time and time again. I haven’t bothered answering the question in years. My brother. You live in the Mecca of Compact Disc Land. Never answer any of them. It's a proven audiophile commodity. I've been testing cd pressings since the 80's. The Japanese pressings are always superior. The United States has no clue and no interest in the quality of music audio. I love Steve Hoffman. He tried and did well. I love MFSL. They did well too. Mobile Fidelity. But Japan is the BEST!!!! Let the silly children of the modern age suffer from their own inept decisions with sound. The youth don't give a shit man. They just drone out to techno, hip hop and rap. Boring pop and mundane madness. Japan and Europe know their shit and I will always support the audiophile addicts. "Didacts & Narpets" I'm a great dad too man. All of my bases are covered. Your friends and ghosts in the night have no clue about music and true sound. Follow your own ears and your heart JB. I will always back you up. I’ll say this: those who have condescended (always western expats) with that question always enjoy music which I don’t. Not sure there’s a connection but that’s what sticks out. As far as age, they’re in their 20s and 30s. Well that makes sense dude. I just turned 52. I'm a dinosaur but my ears still work. I will always go for the SHM pressings. The BLU SPEC 2 Japan cds. The Millennials have f***ed up the world. Yet everyone blames global warming, or is it global change now? Who gives a shit. The world will always spin in cycles. I will listen to cds until I die. "We are only immortal for a limited time." Live life and fuckking HAVE FUN!!!!! I am soooooo glad I was born in 1968. I've done it all JB. I really want to have a RUSH FORUM KEG PARTY. It's on my "f**k It" List. RUSH ON! There is definitely a difference in the sound. If someone doesn’t notice it then maybe for them, that’s a good thing. I just know that the downloaded stuff they’ve played for me always sounds cheap, the sound quality that is. WTF are you both talking about??? If this is about mp3, I'm with you there... BUT, the lossless digital download stuff or HDTracks are way better in quality than the crappy CD's. It's simple math guys... CD's: 16 bit - 44,1 kHz Lossless Digital DL: 24 bit - up to 192 kHz Digital shite aside, if you wanna be an audiophile, get yourself a serious high-end turntable! You have mentioned this to me before. I'm a dinosaur dude who won't grow up either. I am stuck in my Stonehenge Age! I don't own a turntable, yet I do collect Japanese pressing vinyl. Earl, this is not about rocket science. It just means that you have more digital information in those lossless files. If you hear one of these over your stereo, you will never buy a CD again. Plus, CD's are not keepable forever. They lose parts of the digital content after some time. Fact! Wow! You are a true audiophile nut! Love it! But dude, I have cds from 1985 pressed in Japan that still sound great! So far, I found three CD's in my collection, that I bought in the eighties that are unlistenable. Tried multiple players and computers to play them. Same result, clicks and pops throughout. The surface of the discs looks all nice and clean, no scratches, but the content is forever gone. Geddy called them those stupid little things... and... George said... All things must pass :smoke: WOW! My mind is blown. I have NEVER had a problem with any cd. A skip perhaps from a flaw or some idiot abusing the surface. Pops? Clicks? Nope!!!! I'm only one year older than you, so maybe next year, Earl. lol

  18. Not in my book, his (overlooked) acoustic stuff is damn bittersweet and just plain beautiful.
