And this post of yours makes me think that even more. I thought the same also...... And you're usually pretty good at picking that stuff up. Really......who else would find him funny besides himself? Exactly. No one else would make a comment like that. Anyone else would mention his name only in a troll thread. Put him under surveillance.... He has been for at least a week.

  5. didn't DHL go out of business a couple years ago?
  6. QUOTE (presto123 @ May 6 2011, 02:20 PM) Please NOOOOOOOOOOO. Hated that idea. And then that led to that folky sounding acoustic guitar on SnA. that's not fair... don't blame Feedback for S&A sucking!
  7. am I the only one who actually LIKED Feedback? sure it's not as good as a new album, but it's a nice little collection of covers from our favorite band. I even like the production... it sounds like they're just hanging out in a garage somewhere jamming.

  9. QUOTE (workingcinderellaman @ May 5 2011, 02:48 PM) Have any of you people ever had sex? I think so... many years ago
  10. Geddy should say F-CK on CA. It'd be the first Rush album to have one of those "parental advisory" stickers on it lol

QUOTE (presto123 @ May 6 2011, 12:56 AM) I have so much empathy for Neil.....after all he's been through(which most bashers won't experience in their lifetime) still pushing the boundaries of his instrument and soldering on. Boo Hoo.... I don't like his lyrics about religion. Walk a mile in his shoes. Can we just delete all these ridiculous threads now? I have friends who have been through much worse than Neil, and they're nowhere near as bitter and grumpy as he is. Some people prefer to focus on the positive and not let their circumstances get the best of them.
  12. QUOTE (Kenneth @ May 6 2011, 12:12 AM) That's a hard one. that's what she said!

[the interview] was supposed to be, we thought, a nice light-hearted chat in front of the stage. But even when they've been asked not to, interviewers feel compelled to ask what they think the tough questions are. It's agonizing for me, it's horrible. Why do that? I know they want me to break down on camera because it'll make great footage, but it doesn't make me feel very good. I tried to steer them gracefully away from it as best I could, and I gave them a bit of stick about it later too." ... yeah Neil... God forbid you actually show some emotion and act like a human being. Why is it hard for you to accept that the death of someone's entire f**king family might be kinda tough to talk about on CNN? Not everybody can do that, and that seems pretty "human" to me. + how many dudes want to cry on national tv? people forget Neil is no ordinary person, he's been in the "limelight" for most of his life. That's the price of fame and fortune... you give up most of your privacy. well.. no its not, not if you dont want to... I guess not... but then you have people on internet message boards calling you an asshole

  18. QUOTE (Workaholic Man @ May 5 2011, 08:10 PM) QUOTE (SeamusWiles @ May 5 2011, 07:38 PM)not to sound racist or anything, but I think the growing influx of Hispanic immigrants with very little knowledge of the English language is probably one of the biggest contributors to this problem. It's getting to the point where I can't even order a hamburger without having to point at a picture on the menu because the woman taking my order can't understand me. Hispanic immigrants have nothing to do with the decline of correct grammar usage and spelling, as these are matters of written English - not spoken English. I live in an area of 99% caucasian people, and many of my friends' and co-workers' use horrible grammar and spelling. The cause is apathy in students, their parents and in our schools. Correct spelling and grammar are NOT emphasized very often. Not nearly as often as "back in the day".... Same goes for cursive handwriting...... There are even movements for "creative spelling" and for eliminating the apostrophe.....the APOSTROPHE, for Christ's sake!! These people don't want to take the time to actually LEARN how and when to use it, so they want to just ignore it! I didn't mean to say it was the ONLY reason, just that it does seem to be a part of the problem. I live in southern California so it's probably more noticeable here than in other parts of the country. Obviously native English speakers are also at fault for failing to learn proper spelling and grammar.

  20. I've NEVER seen an episode of Lost. Is it worth watching the entire series? I hear the ending is a disappointment.
  21. in the age of text-speak, spelling and punctuation are a dying art. LOL INORITE?
  22. QUOTE (jacob's ladder @ May 5 2011, 11:54 AM) Rush has a strange sense of humour- just like the show of hands video when they edit out Alex's singing in 'La villa' - I forget what the punchline was, but I recall it wasn't very funny. not to mention all these concert videos they make that are only mildly amusing, but apparently Rush thinks is hilarious.
  23. as far as I know there are no other parts of "gangster of boats". It's not like the Fear quadrilogy.
  24. most of Rush's "jokes" aren't funny.
