  1. Does anyone have anything to report regarding the new Sectors (1, 2, 3) sets from the Rush Mercury label albums? Just curious if the remasters are significantly better than past remasters. Price seems a tad high at $49.95 each too.
  2. Best bet is to just take a chance. And please don't go to the well over and over again -- that would ensure that others will be unable to get their stuff signed! FWIW, I sent mine to the Baltimore venue and it came back signed from New Orleans ...
  3. QUOTE (jmdyyz @ Aug 10 2011, 09:13 AM) $50 to expensive Would rather pay $50 for a good shirt rather than 20 for a piece of cr@p.
  4. QUOTE (Pars123 @ Jul 28 2011, 09:23 PM) How long does it usually take to get the autographs back????? If you haven 't gotten anything back yet .. it is likely not coming.
  5. There are always delays on these things. They should have announced Nov 25th in the first place, and then when they were ready to release on Oct 25th everyone would be happy because it is early. :-)
  6. In the mail on Saturday I received a package from New Orleans ... which is interesting because I sent a package to the Baltimore show on the first leg of the tour, and THAT was the item shipped from New Orleans! So, I got my signed Signals CD insert back from the Baltimore show, almost two months after the show! Looks really nice, too ...
  7. I'll buy an XL, maybe two :-). Are you just going to post the e-Bay link here?
  8. Either find someplace really romantic, or do it someplace that SHE really likes. For guys, it's not all that big a deal, but many women have been dreaming their entire lives about what that moment will be like. Do you really want that moment to include some drunk Rush fan yelling, "Hey, I think that dude just proposed!" and then letting out a huge belch?
  9. Regardless, I'm sure you're frustrated, but ... that's the risk you take when you send items to a venue hoping for autographs. Best bet is, don't send something you are not prepared to never see again ...
  10. I sent a Signals CD insert to the Baltimore gig earlier in the tour and never saw it again, so it's not just Birmingham either.
  11. QUOTE (Rush! @ Jun 14 2011, 08:24 PM) I think Earl made a good choice. Same reason I didn't go to see them for this leg either...because I already saw them on the first leg. I'm saving money up so I can see them on the tour for Clockwork Angels when the setlist will be re-vamped. Same set list as the Time Machine tour, except they are swapping out Moving Pictures for Clockwork Angels ... ** Ducking the vegetables being thrown **
  12. Got my Grace Under Pressure tour promo photo back from Greenville last weekend -- went to the show Wed and had it in the mail Saturday! http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5040/5834798966_e3bb35e435_z.jpg
  13. Does it really matter at this point? I don't think the band is available at this point to sign the stuff if they got the situation sorted out. Although, I suspect maybe folks want their stuff back ... but, that's the risk you take when you send stuff in, unfortunately.
  14. Got my Grace Under Pressure tour promo photo back signed by the boys ... looks sweet! I'll post a pic tomorrow ...
  15. QUOTE (Weatherman2112 @ Jun 10 2011, 09:42 PM) ... While that may sound cool, everyone had their cameras up high trying to get the best shots. And the video shooters kept those cameras up high for many minutes at a time. I had one of those guys in front of me. ...I'm not saying don't do it folks but man, have a little respect for the other people around you that also spent a lot of money to be there and also want a great memory. Keep it short or keep it lower. ok I had one of those guys right in front of me too. I was 10th row center, great place to view the show, but for much of the show I got the pleasure of viewing it only by looking on this guy's iPhone screen! Message to the folks with video recorders at the venue: If you want to take a (1) short video during the show, knock yourself out. You'll probably get yourself a nice little video memento, and the video quality will probably be pretty good. But .. the audio will be horrible! And ... there will be an official DVD of the tour released in just a few months, complete with a fantastic audio track! So .. please cut the folks behind you a break and lay off on the constant vieo recording so others behind you can also enjoy the show.
  16. Clockwork Angels needs more cowbell !!!! Just sayin' ...
  17. Out of curiosity ... why do some people send multiple items to be signed? Would you not be happy to have one item signed, and leave the opportunity for others to get something signed too? Eventually, these extra signed items are going to show up on e-Bay, and then the signing will likely come to an abrupt halt.
  18. I have no idea what this thread is supposed to be about, so here is a bunny with a pancake on his head: http://thethingsshesaul.files.wordpress.com/2010/02/bunny_pancake1.jpg
  19. Your chances of getting something signed at the venue are virtually zero, even with a Meet & Greet ...

    Feedback II

I liked both Feedback and S&A ... and I thought it was a great idea to do Feedback at the time because it gave them something different to play on the R30 tour while sticking to the "30 years ago" kind of theme. I liked Crossroads and Summertime Blues, and I really liked Mr. Soul even though it was not played live.
  21. QUOTE (Mr. Krinkle @ May 7 2011, 09:50 AM)Better go see them for the Clockwork Angels tour because I really think the possibility of another one after that, (R40) is less than 50%. ... based upon ... a complete WAG (wild-@ssed guess). I really don't think THEY know when they are going to stop touring. I agree that there will likely not be a farewell tour. I would suspect a tour will end, they will sit down and decide what to do, and the decision will be not to tour again. Could be after this tour, could be 5 tours from now. After they are done touring, I suspect they might be lured into doing a few festival-type shows, but not a full-blown tour. We'll just have to wait and see. Until then, I intend to see them as often as I can -- I would prefer to avoid the regret of, "Oh, man ... if I'd known that would be their last tour I would have gone to see them!"
  22. QUOTE (Cosy Toes @ May 6 2011, 06:07 PM) Doesn't look like being any sell outs on the Yurpean leg then. Those Yurpeans just don't buy enough concert tickets ... :-)
  23. I hope you'll let us know how it all works out.
  24. I saw the Signals tour at the Hollywood Sportatorium in Florida -- Jon Butcher Axis opened for them (actually, they were a pretty good opening act). Great show!
