  1. At the venue ... the Boys just sound checked Losing It. :-)
  2. 1. Thanks for posting the merch pic! 2. All the way from The Netherlands to Houston to catch the tour .... Awesome!
  3. But ........... it says Rush on it!!!!!!! ;-)
  4. Heehee! You're close to giving away what you do for a living. Heavy equipment operator! :ebert:
  5. Nah, I'd rather just complain about my neck hurting. :LOLsign:
  6. I'd rather have good audio than good video. But that's just me ....
  7. Any way to change orientation of the picture? My neck is going to get sore in a hurry! :o
  8. What's up, Andy? Home now or on the road? I just got home from a 3 day this afternoon (got back to DAL yesterday). Time for a Rush fix!
  9. And in a move that surprises everyone, the opener tonight is ... Didacts and Narpets!
  10. Additional advice: 1. Make sure you include a self-addressed stamped envelope - make it as easy as possible for them to comply with your request. 2. Include a SHORT note, not a dissertation-length letter, briefly saying how much you enjoy their music, etc. They have heard it all before, but a sincere letter of appreciation is likely welcomed. 3. Please, just get something signed for yourself and NOT to sell on eBay, etc! The guys have been doing this a long time for fans, and it has to be frustrating to see these things showing up for sale shortly after they were signed. Plus, every time it happens is one time closer to ruining it for other fans. Good luck!
  11. I would be very, very surprised if there is not either a Europe leg or a South America leg still to come (Spring 2016), followed by a second trip through other U.S. Venues in the Fall of 2016. If it does not happen, the likely reason would be health issues, but I would bet money that the tour will go on.
  12. My advice would be, go to the venue on the day of the show. There will almost certainly be folks who upgraded their lawn seats and you will be able to get one there. If you are really brave, wait until just before the show starts when the scalpels are panicking and you might find a decent amphitheater seat for cheap.
  13. Disclaimer: I am not a supporter of TM. That having been said, I do not believe for a second that TM or LN are holding onto tickets until the last minute. This tickets become available because someone (the band, promoters, VIPs, etc) decided not to use them and turned them back to the venue. This happens normally within a week of the show, and some venues even call VIPs on the day of the show if they have not indicated whether they will use their seats so they can resell them through the box office (that's how I got front row in Philly for S & A). My advice, if you want to see a show and don't have good seats, is to buy cheap seats so you know you will get in and then try to score premium seats the week or day of the show. You can always sell your cheap seats at the show if you are successful.
  14. Bumping this message up top -- still looking for 2 tickets together somewhere in the amphitheater portion (so, not lawn). They don't have to be orchestra section, the rear sections under the roof would be ok. Please let me know if you have spare tickets available. The tickets are for my buddy and they will NOT be sold.
  15. Bumping this up again ... any extra tickets out there?
  16. I got front row in Philly on the Time Machine tour ... just got lucky enough to be first in line at the ticket booth and they had VIP tickets for folks who were not going to attend. I passed on my upper section ticket to amother fan who was there for the party but didn't have money to get in -- good deal all around. If there is a show I want to go to and I can't get good tickets, I'll get cheaper tickets just to make SURE I can get in, and then try to upgrade on show day. If you are able to upgrade, you can always pass the cheaper tickets on to someone else.
  17. Bumping this topic up -- any spare tickets out there?
  18. A friend of mine and his wife want to go to the ATL show but they missed the sales -- looking for 2 tickets together somewhere in the amphitheater portion (so, not lawn). They don't have to be orchestra section, the rear sections under the roof would be ok. PLease let me know if you have spare tickets available. The tickets are for my buddy and they will NOT be sold. Thanks!
  19. Unless it is a commercially-produced item sold or given away/auctioned by the band (like the new Hugh Syme book), they always personalize now. I think they split the items into thirds and each of them sign and personalize one-third of the items, then the other guys sign since I have seen about an equal number personalized by Geddy, Alex, and Neil.
  20. Please, if you are going to do this just send one item and PLEASE do not turn right around and sell it on eBay! I am amazed that the guys are still doing this for the fans, but some folks go to the well over and over again and then immediately try to sell the items for a profit. Folks who do that are going to end up ruining it for everyone. Just a thought for those who are thinking about partaking. :-)
  21. You are actually fortunate to be going to shows where you do not know the seats in advance and must actually attend the show yourself if you have VIP tickets. For the TM VIP venues this time, you get the tickets well in advance, so scalpers are really out in force. Most TM VIP sales were sold out within 5-10 minutes.
  22. Just tried for tickets for the ATL show again in the general sale. Now 2 1/2 hours after going on sale, and I am still getting this: We were unable to process your request. Try again later. It cannot be completely sold out. Maybe they are trying to do too many on sale dates at the same time??? For the first 45 minutes after going on sale I kept trying continuously and only saw tickets ONCE (sec 103, toward the back of the venue).
