  1. ABBA had some fun pop tunes, but the Bee Gees win by a mile. Tell me this isn't good stuff...
  2. I didn't care for this last episode too much. I don't know...just kind of...blah... I love Matt Smith's Doctor. Clara is taking some getting used to, which I suppose is natural. The Pond's were so aweome...
  3. Agreed. That is such a good song. The guitar work is so unusual.
  4. We took the kids to see Jurassic Park in IMAX 3D. Pretty epic. "Hold on to your butts!"
  5. Excellent. This is my favorite of theirs...
  6. I'm not going for the first time since HYF. I can afford the tickets, but since they're skipping California and Nevada, the travel/hotel costs push it over the edge. My wife said I could go if I wanted, but she wasn't going to go with me. I looked at Denver and Portland, but it just didn't come together. I'm really bummed, since the first leg was awesome. Our daughter starts college this fall, and we really have to think things through.
  7. I'm almost positive they, along with A Flock of Seagulls, opened for The Police on the Synchronicity tour. I saw that show at what was then Sullivan Stadium in Foxborough. Good show. I saw that same tour in LA. But the lineup was The Thompson Twins, The Fixx, Berlin, and The Police. What a day that was! A couple of years ago, my wife and I saw The Alarm, The Fixx, and The English Beat together. It was 80's awesomeness.
  8. I love them. In fact, driving out of town for business yesterday, I listened to their greatest hits. Good stuff!
  9. I really think you can watch the series, and the movie, and get one (mostly) complete story. It's not perfect, but there's a fair amount resolved in Serenity. I wish it had gone on longer, but I was satisfied with the ending. Hopefully you will be too. Be sure to let us know.
  10. The WiFi episode was pretty good. Setting things up. As for merchandising, you can see that we're doing our part to keep the budget up! I do have something else, but it isn't from a store... I got my son into Doctor Who, and now he loves it. It's so much fun when you can share little things with your kids. So, we watch together and enjoy. Anyway, I was on a business trip recently, and when I got back, he told me that he had made something for me. Here it is: http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d155/RamsATW/0012.jpg Isn't that cool?
  11. A nice one of Geddy: http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d155/RamsATW/DSCN0157.jpg Giant Geddy towers over Neil http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d155/RamsATW/DSCN0137.jpg A little blurry, but catching Alex in his natural state http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d155/RamsATW/DSCN0165.jpg
  12. And don't forget the merchandising! I bought my son a sonic screwdriver for Christmas, and he bought me a Doctor Who coffee mug where the TARDIS disappears when you put coffee into it.
  13. Finally some new episodes. But only 8 for the rest of 2013, did I read that right? That's kind of a bummer.
  14. I bought it too, knowing there'll probably be an extended version (just like I did with the LOTR series). The Blu-Ray is just fantastic. Anyway, I watched Argo last night. Very good. I really enjoyed it. Well deserved editing Oscar just for the airport scene. Lot of great suspense and nail biting tension in that scene. Yes, that's one of those scenes where you know damn well what's going to happen, and you're still yelling at the screen "HURRY UP! GO!"
  15. That was the first one that occurred to me. Otherwise, one of the greatest albums ever recorded. Another that occurred to me, and I'm kind of surprised it hasn't been mentioned yet: The Cars - The Cars (I'm in Touch with Your World). A slow bizzare clunker in a sea of complete awesome.
  16. Agreed. She got a lot of great shots that night. 4th row center at MGM. Here's Geddy looking right at us, being goofy... http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d155/RamsATW/DSCN0150.jpg

  18. Saffron. Or, YoSaffBridge ;) And yeah, she's something else. Out of Gas is probably my favorite. It's just brilliant.
  19. I didn't take any photos at Clockwork Angels, but my wife shot this at Time Machine II in Las Vegas (hope that's good enough). If not, my apologies for derailing...I just love this photo! http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d155/RamsATW/DSCN0192.jpg

  21. Happy St. Patrick's Day! http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d155/RamsATW/securedownload.jpg
  22. Except where was Patty the Daytime Hooker? She appeared earlier in the series as her Earl character.
