  1. Maybe the Snow Dog can help you out. :D
  2. Why did she mouth off at you? Simply because I could not activate the phone as she requested. I told her politely that an AT&T phone cannot be used on Verizon’s network because the two carriers use different technologies (AT&T uses GSM bands; Verizon uses CDMA). But she got upset and said that I was just being lazy and not wanting to do my job. I had half a mind to laugh, and half a mind to smash her stupid phone into a trillion pieces. But I didn’t. :D Plus, It's not worth losing your job over some fool. If I were his boss I would have high-fived him after he smashed her phone. Supervisors need to back up their employees when said employees are correct! Yeah, But these days are a lot different from when I grew up. He made the right decision.

  4. Wimps are on the rise. It's really getting out of hand. Do we have to all sink to the lowest common denominator so no one ever feels left out? It was starting to emerge this way when I was in school. I remember moving school, and I was put in all the "bottom" classes. Really hated it. Kids were generally rowdier, either less smart or they just didn't care. I worked myself stupid to change my classes and in months I got to the top classes of most subjects. To say all should be treated "equal" is ridiculous. Many kids, like me, learn to work harder in order to rise above and it should stay that way. It started before that. But I agree with you're point. Of that I have no doubt but I remember between years 9 and 11 it was getting really noticeable. I graduated in '76, {Yeah, the Bicentennial, so our 'class Colors were Red, White and Blue, of course} but it had started in a very small way, even then. Listening to my past the way I do every night, it's really strange to see the past different than I perceived it at the time. http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j223/OldRUSHfan/Banana%20World/Banana%20with%20Chocolate%20milk%20sm.png It wasn't like that when I was in school. It was stiff competition. There was only one winner. And no consolation prizes for the losers. No safe spaces. No one worried whether our self-esteem had been harmed. No play-doh or coloring books were distributed. No counselors available in case we needed to talk about how it all made us "feel." It is quite sad isn't it?
  5. I have one too. I think it means we voted for ourselves. Yeah, the blue star shows who you voted for...so if you see a star next to your own name, you clearly voted for yourself (like a loser ;) )
  6. Why is there a blue star next to my name? Does it mean I am special? :P
  7. Go ahead. I did and got the ball rolling. Now I'm winning! :) Okay. :D I'm on the board!!

  12. Be glad your not on it meme. Tbh this does not feel like a joke even thou it is. It still hurts my feelings, joke or not. If you'd stayed out of the thread you'd feel a lot better. You know what to do next time. I don't know why you read my threads anyway since you don't like any of them. It seems like you just want to whine about them though. No I would not feel better because I would still know I'm in this thread. It hurts my feelings even though I know it's a joke, some jokes are just not ment to happen. Stop being 10 and act 16. Sixteen is the new ten. :P Good I can be 20 again! Lets settle on sixteen. :D

You are in for a rude awaking in the real world.

  15. You and me both. me neither. I guess we're on the 'irrelevant' list. Reminds me of high school cafeteria. I actually embrace people not noticing me or considering me irrelevant; you can get away with alot of shit when people don't notice you. Good thinking.
