I was surprised that I would ever enjoy Snakes and Arrows as much as I do now. It doesn't quite crack my top ten at the moment, but when I first listened to it a couple of years ago, I found it pretty boring, and I wasn't in to the style at all. However, about a month ago, I decided to give it a chance, and wow! There are some really great moments on this album. Armor and Sword is probably my favourite song on it, and I'm now finding the whole album very listenable. Of course, it has its off moments, like parts of Spindrift, Bravest Face, and Good News First. Overall, I am really happy that I finally got into it, because the fact that I had ignored many of these songs makes it almost like a whole new Rush album to listen to!

wat. Now you got me curious. What is the filler on Clockwork Angels? That album kicks some serious butt. I can't find a single track on there that I don't like apart from BU2B2 which doesn't even count as a track, and I suppose Wish Them Well isn't their best work. You are totally gonna hate me....lol I still feel, over a year later. That CA is about half a good album. Here's where you'll hate me. I dislike Caravan BU2B Carnies 7 cities of Gold Wish them Well. (Although it works live) Mick I find it interesting that you dislike Caravan, but like Halo Effect. In my opinion, Halo Effect is probably the weakest song on the album, and I love Caravan. Different strings I guess!

I find Presto very inconsistent. The Pass is one of my favourite Rush songs, and I also love Show Don't Tell, Chain Lightning, and Presto. Of course, there is also Superconductor, one of my least favourites. The rest of the album is pretty good (Anagram is very underrated, in my opinion), but the production drags the whole effort down. It's still listenable, but it would be interesting to hear what the songs would be like if they had more "balls" to them. Overall, it's not my least favourite Rush album, but I rank it pretty low on the list.

I'm very conflicted on Spindrift. On one hand, I love the menacing instrumentals, and I really like the background vocals. The vocal melody during the "spindrift, spindrift" part is fantastic, but the "a little closer to you" melody is one of their weakest, and just feels shoehorned in. All in all, I still enjoy the song, but that specific part drags it down a lot in my opinion.

I really enjoy Snakes and Arrows. It has its weaker moments (Bravest Face, Good News First), but I think the majority of it is excellent. It almost makes my top ten.

Woah woah woah. What don't you like about Power Windows?

The Pass for me.

I was also at the Winnipeg show (first time seeing them live). I thought that it was absolutely amazing. I cheered so loudly when they started playing The Pass that I'm pretty sure I got some looks.

This is way too close, but I voted F. It barely beat out C.

Definitely number 1 for me. Actually, it's my favourite album of all time, from anyone. I love listening to it in the car.

I haven't even finished my first listen, but it sounds to me like it is the best since at least Counterparts. However, I haven't voted yet.
