Hold Your Fire is one of my favourites too HYF is easily in my top 3 Rush albums. Mission was actually the first song that got me to check out more Rush, so it's really got that going for it in my book And then on top of that Power Windows is my favorite Rush album

I really dug what he did with this. Did a really good job at staying true to the original while making things different enough for it not to be a carbon copy.

It's pretty low on the Rush totem poll for me but I'd say it's better than about 3 or 4 of their other albums. I really enjoy Show Don't Tell, the title track, The Pass, and Anagram but I hardly really listen to anything else off of the album

I enjoy Far Cry, MalNar, Main Monkey, and a couple other songs (it's been a long time since I heard it so I forget which ones) but overall despite the handful of songs I like whenever I try and listen to the album I end up getting bored of it. It's not bad but it's just a little too slow in some spots for me. It's probably down there among my least favorite Rush albums.

I personally have never really seen the hate. Power Windows, Hold Your Fire, and Grace Under Pressure each would be among my top Rush albums (Power Windows probably being my #1 Rush album), and I get the same enjoyment out of them as I do Hemispheres, Moving Pictures, etc.

I've always wondered this as well, but I have a feeling that it was mostly just so as not to break the flow of the song in a live setting

Voted Different Stages, but ATWAS is a close second, but DS gets a a higher rank for me because it has a little something from my favorite albums up to that point (plus the full 2112 is nice, and disc 3 has some really nice old school performances)

Album: Power Windows Song: Mystic Rhythms but my favorite rush song over all is The Analog Kid
