  1. A few thoughts... 1). Saw them at West palm Beach for TM, and Geddy's voice was shot. Glad to be able to go to Ft. Lauderdale, where the kickoff of this leg will be, his voice should be better. 2). I'm not going to complain about ticket prices this time around. I'm thinking of VIP packages this time, just for the ease and convenience. Treating my wife and I happens rarely, so why not? Now if I could just find out how to get pictures with Alex and Geddy... 3). In reference to the "gazillions" they're supposedly making...they're supporting their offices, managers, techs, etc. etc. That's GOT to cost a bundle. Think of all the people directly dependent on them for their livelihood. If you've read Ghost Rider, there was a section where Neil was talking about running low on funds. I don't think they're as well off as some are thinking (but yeah, they're not worrying about their next meals, either...). 4). I'll keep going to their shows as long as they keep playing them. A Clockwork Angels tour? 2012, maybe. I think they'll finish up Time Machine, take a break, then complete CA. Take another break, then tour. I hope they're around for the R40 tour. Not sure I'd want to see an R50 tour, though...lol.
  2. QUOTE (Todem @ Oct 19 2010, 10:52 AM)Geddy was great in Tampa and struggled in West Palm. There are some chinks in the armor vocally, but he still sounds great live. Have to agree, I was at the WPB show and he sounded off. It didn't bother me as this was the last show of the North American leg. His voice was bound to be tired. And he is older. But it all still sounded good.
