We were is section 420 (Page side) for Thursday night, section 417 (right behind Trey) Fri night, and then the lower section (113 I think) for NYE. Sound was great. They had speakers pointing towards the rear as well. Only issue was the lights did block us several times in sec 417. But you are primarily there to hear things not to see things. Being a guitar player, it was kinda neat to have the 'up above and behind Trey' perspective. So I could focus on all of the footwork Trey was doing which you never get to see if you are facing the stage. Was surprised how much he used his wah peddle.

Ended up going a day early so the plan changed to doing nights 2 and 4. We then got the horrible news that Warren Haynes was in the hospital and that the Mule show was postponed. So, I ended up at MSG nights 2, 3, and 4. We were 6th row behind the stage New Years. Ended up with 6 Phish shows in 2022.

Have a great show. My Phish buddy got a nice Christmas bonus so I got talked into going up a day early. So we are going to do Phish on the 29th, Gov't Mule at the Beacon on the 30th (plus going to see Dogs In A Pile for the post Phish show. Doors at midnight. Show at 12:30), and then Phish for NYE. I have never been much of a dancer. But I am always the annoying air guitar player. A little difficult for me for Phish as I only know a handful of songs, but when it gets to the wicked guitar solos, I can nail those.

The publisher's website now has a listing for the as-yet-untitled memoir, and it gives a tentative release date of May 16, 2023 (thanks RushFanForever). The listing indicates that the book will be around 400 pages and be available as a hardcover or as an e-book. There's also a listing on Amazon where you can pre-order the hardcover for $35 and the e-book for $17.99. Amazon also shows a CD option for $39.99 but it's not clear what that includes. From Geddy's original Instagram post announcement:

Agree with the Bradford pears. The houses on my street were all built around 1994. I moved into my house in '98. Every house had a couple planted by the developes. One of mine came down in a storm and half of another fell down during another storm.. Almost every other one on my block hasn't survived. Custom55, I love your idea with the rope and chainsaw blade. I think I will give that a try.

Rushisaband still has no info. But I did find a ‘a night for Neil’ Facebook page. There are a few videos on there. Not sure how to link. I’ll update if I can figure it out. No reports of Al or Ged -

I am in the same boat. Got tickets immediately when they went on sale. Was planning on going. Was going to drive (about 10 hours for me) due to the cost of flying . But I am traveling for work this week and again next week so, like you, am going to treat it as a donation. I will be glad to transfer my ticket (free) if anyone wants it. -

Yup, I have a hard time watching late games. Watched the first period last night and the rest of the game this morning (half paying attention having it on in the background while working from home). -

Nice sportsmanship to see the Avs include Jack Johnson (who was sporting his current Blackhawk uniform) in the pregame Cup celebration/raising of the banner. -

I have a ticket but not sure if I will be going or not. Probably won't decide until a few weeks before. I travel a lot for work so it will probably depend on that. -
Just got tix for Gov't Mule in New Orelans for their Halloween show. Not formally announced, but good chance they will play a set of Spinal Tap. Hope they bring a spare dummer 'just in case'

Like Tangy, I like him but not much of a fan and agree that he reminds me of Haynes. I will check out the new album. He certainly shows promise. Most of the shows I see are in the jam genre. I've seen him play a few times, but always at a festival (or during Christmas Jam) where he was not the headlining act.
