Right now 2024 Mustang GT convertible or the new BMW Z4 convertible with the manual transmission package are still top of my list. Maybe a Corvette C7. As you are aware these aren't cars are not needed tomorrow. The wife's 2015 Chevy Sonic is for family truckster duties.
I like enough of what I've seen and heard this morning about the ICE Sixpack versions to be patient while learning more. I can imagine ordering a 2 door HO in the fall or early winter.Honestly a manual C7 would be top of my list with those choices. It's easily the most special experience of all of them, and a better V8 experience than a heavy Mustang with a 5.0L.

Insurance rates are going up so more assholes are skipping insurance resulting in higher insurance rates for those still on insurance which results in more c***s going without insurance, worst vicious cycle ever

Why do GenXers feel personally threatened by the existence of electric cars? Acting like a cornered feral cat, without being cornered or a cat.

If one can qualify for an FHA loan they only require a 3.5% down payment.
Yes. And assuming said person can get the $10-15k for that down, they’re going to be saddled with a huge monthly payment and little equity. Really sucks for them.
-
My mortgage is about $1,800. Not everyone can afford that plus upkeep. And that was right before 3% rates ended. With $91k down, which most 20-something’s also can’t do. Buying my same house today with the same down payment would be like a $2,800-3,000 mortgage. Better be married with good dual incomes to play that game. And if you don’t have a massive down? Good luck!
Maybe it was a bad idea to not build starter homes for 40 years in this country.

Anyone bitching about their late millennial and GenZ kids not buying homes should put the crackpipe down and look at prices and mortgage estimates
Don’t be an ignorant c*** bashing your kids with mass ignorance! Not healthy!

Too bad I can’t get the 60 count eggs delivered from Walmart. There’s no way James and I could carry them home.
That does sound too risky. How far is the walk?

I could not get into that show for the life of me, even though I really wanted to like it.
It started out with a rough first season, just like Trailer Park Boys. They then got into a rhythm with humor that just works for me
and hilariously high quality camera work for what kind of show it is

Much like companies with their bullshit return to office policies, they'll try it again once they feel they can get away with it.
I have a developer friend who has been very loudly whining and complaining about this! After four years at home, they just started back up with 3 days a week in office, 2 days remote. I've never heard someone complain so much. I only did about 15 days working from home during COVID, so I never really got used to it or expectant of it.

Got some bad news on our European High Speed Rail Adventure. We're taking an older train, scheduled to be replaced some months after we're there. It's only going to get up to 125mph. Weak.

My girlfriend owed $1400 federally and $300 for state. Not a fun tax time surprise!
Thanks to the bullshit of taxing bank interest as income. What the f**k man, that's harsher taxes than stock gains! Why the f**k do we tax bank interest harder than stock gains!?
