i've been tracking the conversations about listening to vinyl and the richness of the medium. perhaps the sound is nostalgic and thus appreciated. perhaps not. in any event, i've got loads of old Rush stuff on vinyl. so, i'm thinking about getting a turntable to play them on. any guidance on equipment?

i did the VIP package for a couple of shows last year. it was worth it to me to be that close but the stuff that came along was a bonus.

i'm gonna have to roll like this: 1. witch hunt 1. circumstances 1. xanadu 1. la villa strangiato 1. yyz 1. passage to bankok 1. 2112 1. countdown 1. subdivisions 1. far cry i'll start thinking about my second favorite song tomorrow.

121 euros per ticket for Frankfurt. plus an additonal 30 euros for shipping. oh, plus the flight to Europe. then the beer! when does the madness stop?

what confuses things even more is that the Frankfurt tickets have been selling for a couple of days.

so i haven't logged in for a few days and see the news about the tour. hit the main Rush.com page and see the Euro dates. Something looks familiar...my other favorite band, Iron Maiden also touring. Turns out their playing the same hall in Frankfurt the day after. What are the odds. Looks like a trip i tells myself. then i click the linkey dinkey to see when the German pre-sale occurs...turns out it's on. Grabbed me a few.
