Very cute pics.

  3. QUOTE (Garden Dancer @ Sep 24 2010, 06:58 AM) QUOTE (Rushchick10 @ Sep 24 2010, 05:53 AM) http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f238/MiriyaB/Geddy_at_game.jpg Does anyone else find it incredibly adorable that he has his little notebook out for stats at games? *giggle* I tried for a while, but I'm so bad with it! I'm horrible at stats and numbers and stuff like that. Always have been! ...Probably why I don't play Fantasy Baseball... I just ain't got the head for it! I'll stick to watching the Braves games on t.v... I also find it adorable. I wouldn't have the head for fantasy baseball, either.
  4. That's awesome. It's too bad they don't have that many votes.
  5. QUOTE (ColdFireYYZ @ Sep 11 2010, 09:26 PM)Artimus Pyledriver - Artimus Pyledriver (it was on sale, and I thought the name was cool. No way related to Arimus Pyle of Skynyrd. Real heavy southern metal) I've heard some of their songs. Pretty cool. I should probably remind my self to get their stuff.
  6. QUOTE (Cygnalschick @ Sep 14 2010, 03:17 PM) A friend gave me a copy of "The Sound of Perseverance" awhile back, but lately I have REALLY been listening to it a lot. Wow, this band blows me away. Technical metal at its best. My favorite song is "Spirit Crusher" Any other fans?? I am. Started getting into them when I heard "Crystal Mountain" about a year ago. Never thought I'd get into death metal, but this band kinda broadened my horizons a bit.

QUOTE (NobodysHeroine @ Sep 22 2010, 03:33 PM) QUOTE (teababe27 @ Sep 21 2010, 07:55 PM)QUOTE (NobodysHeroine @ Sep 20 2010, 07:02 PM) I'm new here as well. Hello, fellow New World Women! Are there any other young Rushians out there? I'm merely sixteen, a Michigan girl who has never been to a Rush show. Yet it's no secret that I long for that day... No one cares about Michigan. Not even the greatest rock band to have ever existed. But I'm a female Rushian and PROUD! Rush is NOT just a guy's band. Who cares if they're 40+ years older than I am? Age doesn't matter to girls who crush on Rush (and Geddy especially). Oh, yeah, he's my favorite... I'm only 18. When I went to a Rush concert recently, it seemed like I was one of the youngest people there. Except for maybe some families with their children. Anyway, welcome!! Us youngsters and our concerts! Being at a Rush concert is my dream. Maybe I'll get a spot on Geddy's side of the stage, so I may admire him in real life. Oh, yeah... I love your avatar. Not to mention the site that that comes from. Homestar Runner, Strong Bad's comic called "Teen Girl Squad." Good to know I'm not the only person who knows that exists. "Kirsten, you look burnt -- or dead." Another reason I love that pic of Geddy wearing a Trogdor shirt. TROGDOOOOOOOOOOR!!
  10. Student. If that's considered a job.

As most know, I adore Geddy, ( ) but, this photo made me swoon a bit for the Professor! Holy. Crap. I agree so much.

  14. QUOTE (OldRod @ Sep 21 2010, 11:55 AM) QUOTE On Thursday, one of Canada's finest exports, Rush, arrived at Consol Energy Center with a virtual time machine, which would have come in handy Friday night. It would have allowed those with Nickelback tickets to go back in time to the night before or forward to the "The Wall" show next week. I agree.
  15. Well, hello. I have been a Rush fan for a few years now, but have only discovered this forum recently. I am probably one of the only girls (and one of the only people my age that I know of) I know who like Rush/similar music. All of the other girls my age like all that Top 40 crap on the radio.
