  1. Lost count actually. Lost stubs from Vapor Trails going back to the beginning. However each show feels like my first and that is a great feeling.
  2. Never been to the Etess. Looks like a small venue. I'll just think of it like the boys are playing my garage.
  3. Wow! Nice pics. I hope to get a few myself. Thanks for ramping up my excitement level for for Saturday's show!
  4. I do all of my sitting during the pre-show festivities. Showtime? If I'm feeling it, I'm standing. I'm sure I'll be standing on the 11th.
  5. Not a good idea to create your own meet and greet. Keep the boys just out of arms reach. It will leave you always wanting more.
  6. I know that we all have heard it at the end of a show before, but I think the boys will end with the standard Limelight. It's got that thunderous ending that leaves the crowd always wanting more. At least it does for me.

    Rush Tattoos

Starman left lower leg. "RUSH" right above the tattoo. Got it just before S&A tour. I dunno why I waited so long.
  8. In the vehicle pictured below... on that cruise to wherever the music takes me.
  9. RUSH wth an orchestra..... Does this mean I have to rent a tuxedo for the show?
  10. QUOTE (circumstantial tree @ Apr 29 2012, 11:36 AM)"Subdivisions" was a song that so many took to heart and spoke of their experiences in high school and life.
  11. Minimum 5Gs. Worth every penny.
  12. No ticket buying blues here. Just the opposite actually. I too have 6 months until the Oct 20 show (actually under 6 months now). The excitement is only building for me.
  13. I'll do my best not to look for this tour...but I may not be able to hold out until I see them 17 shows in. Then again some chucklehead will probably post some spoilers where they shouldn't which will probably open the door enough for me to peek.
  14. One of my favorites...it will be played.
  15. Countdown... because it is Signals' year. Prime Mover... Xanadu...in it's entirety, right after The Trees
  16. My top 3 choices: 1. Free Will 2. The Spirit Of Radio 3. Subdivisions Either one will pull me into the "zone" for the night.
  17. Beginning thru to the end. I want the whole story, not the abridged version. I'll probably listen to it 3 times in a row. By the third listen I'll have an idea as to which songs are gonna grow on me.
  18. I am gonna take a gamble and see if I can pick up a couple of tickets just before the show. Saw them at PNC this past September and almost had to take out a home equity loan to get tickets. Not gonna do that again.
  19. I get the same PRD flare-up every 2-3 years.
  20. What a show! Had a great time with my wife who toweled me off throughout as it was quite warm 4th row in. She was a trooper last night with her injured leg and all. Was a great date night for the both of us. RUSH fans are great too. I want to thank the woman who bought me and my wife a beer because she thought she cut in front of me at the lounge area. That was really nice. Once again RUSH did not disappoint. The boys were in top form. Other than the guitar issues previously mentioned I thought the show was flawless. The energy that went back and forth between the crowd and the band was incredible. Looking forward to the release of Clockwork Angels and the following tour.
  21. I prefer the outdoors. To have the surrounding light dim naturally as the show developes makes for an intense musical experience. Doesnt remind me of seeing a concert from the inside of a box.
  22. QUOTE (Bastille Dave @ Aug 27 2010, 08:34 PM) the other day I went for a bike ride and listened to Moving Pictures, well every song except for Tom Sawyer (since I hear it alot on bootlegs and live albums, I decided to skip it). I loaded my bike into my dad's Blazer which only had FM radio. The first song I heard on the drive home was Tom Sawyer. OK, not a big coincidence since most classic rock stations play it daily but I thought it was kinda cool. Yeah something like that happened to me with CTTH. I didnt listen to the song for a while. I guess I was going through a AFTK decline. Anyway, just as I am thinking of that very thought as I walk out the door; I get into the car. Turn on the radio and CTTH started to play. I thought it was my cd player but it was off and I didnt have the AFTK cd in the changer. I just though that was kind of weird.
  23. Dont listen to the radio that often but just last weekend, or was it last month, I got into the Renegade and much to my delight 2112 was being played in its entirety on "The Q". I was like "Holey @#$%". Needless to say my short journey to the convenience store was extended.
