I am extremely excited to announce that my "RUSH FOR SOLO PIANO" YouTube project (on my Flowerbed Music channel) is soon to be available as a limited edition VINYL LP. I am also very proud that HUGH SYME, the legendary artist of all Rush's album covers since 1975's "Caress Of Steel", has produced utterly stunning artwork for the front and back covers as well as the labels. The man who has enabled this to happen is STEVE BROWN, the amazing guitarist with Rush tribute band, 'Moving Pictures' and founder of RUSHFest Convention in Scotland. He has already produced several releases (not least the multi-volume 'Songs For Neil' compilation series) whose proceeds have all gone to Funding Neuro (the registered charity which raises funds for developing cures and treatments of neurological diseases and cancers). Any Rush fan will obviously understand the motivation for that. I'm honoured to have been approached and invited by Steve to be the next release in the catalogue (with of course all proceeds from my album going to Funding Neuro too). So, RUSH FOR SOLO PIANO The Album... is on it way. All the tracks have been fully remastered by Steve and sound magnificent to my ears. Hugh's art is all done. Next up, hopefully, it all goes off to print and press! I'll provide an update as soon as the release date starts to look imminent! Watch this space!!

Remembering our good friend and member of our community, OldRushFan. It's been a few years now, and his kindness has not been forgotten. RIP brother. I'm still staying off your lawn.

Though the Grace Under Pressure Box Set has been somewhat polarizing among fans for a myriad of reasons, it's still an absolutely gorgeous package and, yes, worth the money (IMO). For those who didn't acquire it, you can check out the entire package online below, including a full transcription of all the liner notes and essays, and high resolution scans of all the photos and artwork. RTB was a platinum seller PurpleHayes.....it was a big album for Rush and a big rebound from HYF and Presto's gold sales. HYF - 600-700K worldwide Presto - 650K worldwide Roll The Bones - 1.1-1.2MM worldwide My rankings of those 3? 1. Hold Your Fire 2. Roll The Bones 3. Presto Anyway......I think Roll The Bones will get the royal treatment one day. And I happen to love the mix and master on it. Fit's the material and approach they had then perfectly. Same with Hold Your Fire....sonically a lush and ambitious production. Still blows me away. Presto.....meh.....they stumbled their sonically. And they readily admit that themselves.

As always, thank you for archiving all this cool stuff!!

Geddy should play in Yes. BTW - anyone listen to 1000 Hands? Pretty great.
