Why not kill two birds with one stone; * Use an earlier GUP show for Afterimage. * If by some miracle board recordings exist, include one of the RCMH '83 shows with early versions of P/G material (including Kid Gloves) and most of the Signals tour cuts. Preferably Sept. 18 as that's the longest of the five nights. And of course, include the P/G Tour video. Hopefully complete, but I'd be willing to accept the regular one hour version as long as we still get a complete setlist on CD.

I e-mailed Rush management - blimey, prob about 2 years ago - asking if a live version of Afterimage could be added for the GUP 40th! Obviously, if it exists! Got no reply but I'm sure I wasn't the only one that did it. I also e-mailed them to add Vital Signs live from the Vapor Trails tour onto the RIR set. GUP was the first Rush album I bought. Cracking album. I too, hope we get the full Toronto video and a full show on audio. Great tour. Band sounded great.

So yeah..... a TNG era theory related to a TOS era villain has been pretty much confirmed and made canon in S3E2 of SNW. I'd love to give it away, but I'd probably be put on trial for it.
