Love me some Jackson! That's such a good album and seems like it kind of got overlooked when Running On Empty was such a big hit.3 points

Oh man I can't stand the thought of Kane in Vegas or Dallas . There has been rumors of Toews being looked at by Avs but I'm doubtful.3 points

Not sure where the line is around here between rock and pop, so -- like Rick N. Backer above -- I'm excluding favorites like Duran Duran, Gary Numan, Ultravox, etc. Black Sabbath -- Heaven and Hell Blue Ă–yster Cult -- Fire of Unknown Origin Rush -- Moving Pictures Van Halen -- Women and Children First Scorpions -- Love at First Sting Deep Purple -- Perfect Strangers Yngwie Malmsteen -- Rising Force Metallica --Master of Puppets Genesis -- Duke Yes -- 90125 Some years ago this list would have included King's X, but I've kind of fallen out of love with them.2 points

Have had a penchant to watch some old 1970s films from my youth. I remember "The French Connection" vividly because it was the first "X" rated film (now "18") I saw at the cinema at the tender age of 14! Despite being over 50 years old it still resonates as one of the best police thrillers I've seen in many-a-year. And as always Gene Hackman is a joy to watch, ably supported by the ever-dependable Roy Scheider.2 points

I'd rather see extra inning games be suspended and finished later than have a ghost runner put at 2nd base. Especially when the teams are playing a night game then a day game the next day. Suspend the game after 12 innings.1 point

There were some exceptions…..Dokken and Whitesnake being two of them….they had good album’s filled with great riffs and melodies. And high quality lead vocals….especially Coverdale.1 point

Mrazek was having trouble with his mask. Guess Kane was disappointed the Rangers got Tarasenko. Wonder where he may end up. Any idea what is ailing Toews? Heard he's missed a few games lately.1 point

"the poem "The Defence of Fort Mc Henry" (Francis Scott Key, 1814) which is the basis for the anthem." It speaks to seeing the flag flying after a hard fought battle, hence the sight of the flag surviving the battle. It is interesting there are 3 verses yet we only sing the first. Did it say anything about that pj bear? Just curious.1 point

I was never a fan of these bands. I did buy Motley Crue Dr Feelgood CD when it was released. I did see Motley Crue in 2015 and they were fantastic. I did ride in an elevator with the members of Warrant in Corpus Christi, TX back in the 90s. That's the extent of my experience with Hair Metal.1 point

"Hill Street Blues" Back in the 80s I thought this show was incredibly raw and true-to-life compared to the usual formulaic cop shows such as Starsky and Hutch, Cagney and Lacey, Kojak et al. Some 40 odd years on, and it still has its moments, even though it hasn't aged well. But with the presence of the late-great, Daniel J. Travanti (as Captain Frank Furillo) in control of things, it is still a pleasure to watch. Oh, and let's be careful out there!1 point
