  9. This morning, it was "Helen Wheels" by Wings. I was really thinking of the big harmonies on the chorus, and the "say bye-bye!" part at the end

  10. Pretty big 😂. I have a vast memory, and I'm deeply invested in all my favorite topics. I could talk to anyone about music for hours on end. I think it's a combination of me being on the spectrum, and consuming too much caffeine.

  13. Muse-Simulation Theory (6/10) I think. In going through Muse's discography this wins the prise for WEIRDEST album. I thought it was 2nd Law.....no no nooooooo, lol i wonder what the thought process was here. Yhe entire first 5 songs almost sound like one big acid trip and it's probably my least fav block of Muse Music. i honestly can't separate one song from the next. Than You get a bunch of Ballads in the 2nd half. like 3 in a row. It's a weird album and plus there's BARELY any real drums or bass......Which by the by. is my fav thing about muse. the f***ing rhythm section is just somehow not on this album, lol. AM wrong here?????? plus in the song Dig down. They're totally saying Dick-ed Down probably my least fav but i have to replay the new one, lol Mick

  15. But the treatment does work with some people. This chap came to us straight from the Chichester Festival; we operated just in time, and now he's almost normal.

  24. Måneskin - Rush! (Second or third listen, I do like it but the track order isn’t really coherent, and they seem to have traded their more complex songs for more permutations on I Wanna Be Your Slave and some decent balladry) Måneskin - Teatro D’Ira, Vol. 1 (sadly to date there is no volume 2, because this is the better of their most recent two albums, and I think sticking in this vein would have produced even better results than Vol 1 itself) Queen - A Kind Of Magic (One Vision is perhaps the perfect opening song. Being that this is Queen, I love everything here, but there’s a good deal in the middle that most people would easily call filler) Red Hot Chili Peppers - Californication (many of their best songs and easily their worst production under Rick Rubin, however did they manage such an incredible trade off?) Led Zeppelin - _______ (Stairway still hasn’t lost its magic for me, and neither has any of the rest of the album, barring Four Sticks which I’ve never been a huge fan of) Black Sabbath - Sabbath, Bloody Sabbath (in an incredible achievement, Sabbath happened upon the best possible title for their 5th album simultaneously with the most accurate possible review of it. Robert Cristgau, eat your pen) Soundgarden - Badmotorfinger (in other words, my hour long screaming therapy session) Red Hot Chili Peppers - Unlimited Love (still haven’t gotten to Return Of The Dream Canteen, because there’s already so much to digest here)

  27. I wish I could still scream my lungs out when singing along to a voice like his. Unfortunately, years of singing along to metal without using any sort of proper technique has rendered my aggressive/screaming voice to nothing now. I can still sing along with melodic stuff but aggression wise the best I can do now is a half ass imitation of John Bush. I blame the first four Slipknot albums for this 😄
