  2. Rush- Clockwork Angels I can't get over just how beautiful this album is. It took me so long to truly embrace it start to finish, but it was worth it.

  3. I haven't been on this thread in a while ...... i have been watching little or no football this year. However, it's a cold, wet and miserable Monday afternoon here in Ballyclare so I'm gonna watch the England game. Perhaps the World Cup will re-ignite my enthusiasm for the sport!

  6. You guys (well, perhaps not Blackhawkrush, unless he's watching on one of his dodgy Russian proxy streams) are lucky you don't have to watch the Fox Sports coverage and between-action blather; Alexei Lalas continues to be a world-class t**t.

  7. Steely Dan-Royal Scam (10/10) This is easily the best Dan album by yards to me. The polish is starting to creep up i admit but the blistering guitar running through helps maintain the edge i love. I love every song. This is not only my fav Dan album but easily an all timer for me. Mick

  16. The more of this World Cup that you watch, I`m afraid the officials will offer you ever-increasingly baffling examples of what constitutes a penalty. Rule No.1 - the penalty award must, wherever possible, be completely disproportionate to the original threat on goal.

  19. Rather a patronising view of the US team from all UK journalists - apparently, your team is very energetic, disciplined and determined, but almost completely talentless. This appears to be a similar view offered back in the 90s and not one I share of the contemporary outfit. I would prefer Wales lose, as they are an intolerable bunch of jingoistic blowhards when they sniff achievement... something also usually applied to US sportsmen.

  21. Indeed. Virgil continues to be sloppy. Where has his form disappeared to? I am hoping for a better game later when the Welsh dragons take on the U. S. of A.

  22. Shut up, you Scotsman. You always talk, you Scotsmen. You talk and you talk and say, "Let me tell you something" and "I just wanna say this." Well, you're dead now, so shut up!

  23. Look at him laughing... ooh, he's a chirpy little fellow. Isn't he a chirpy little fellow, eh? eh? Does he talk? Does he talk, eh?

  25. I watched Rock N Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony last night and it was really good! One of my favorite performances was Judas Priest and they played 2 songs. All of them spoke afterwards except for Richie. Breaking the Law and Living after Midnight were the songs they played.

  26. Love this album. Mikael Akerfeldt of Opeth talked this one years ago and I gave it a listen. Lots of great stuff on there. Like Here Come the Tears, Sinner (which I saw live in 2018!), and Dissident Aggressor!

  38. Septicflesh- Modern Primitive Lorna Shore- Pain Remains Okay so the latest Lorna Shore is breathtaking. I loved that. And I totally forgot how amazing Modern Primitive is. I think I may put that album over Of Kingdom And Crown by Machine Head. Now: Iron Maiden- Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son

  39. Judas Priest- Sin After Sin I love this album. I think it's rarely spoken of as a favourite by fans, but it was my first favourite Priest album. Have to say, other records have overtaken for me now. Last Rose Of Summer is an atypical JP song, but it's in my top five. Beautiful ballad. I love the soft whimsy it has, and the atmosphere is beautiful.

  40. I recently read a joke that went something like this. "My wife and I told our kids they were adopted and the first thing they wanted to know was who were their birth parents." I replied, "We're your birth parents. Your adopting parents will be here soon."
