At the movie theatres, I watched the theatrical re-release of "Avatar" in 3-D. Goose (Allen), yes, I have seen it before. When it was first released in theatres in 2009, I saw it in 3-D, and in 2010, saw the Special Edition. After the closing, and end credits this time, there were added scenes from the sequel "Avatar: the Way of Water". When it was released on d.v.d., and blu-ray as the Extended Collector's Edition, I got the d.v.d., and have watched it, too. I've liked the movie a lot.

I just got tickets for next sunday! It'll be my first time ever seeing them, so I really don't care if they play nothing but hits or all of the new album or whatever they want. I will say though, I do like to be surprised, so I am trying to avoid much in the way of setlist spoilers, but I do know a couple of things I've seen around. Anyway,

New Queensryche album Digital Noise Alliance may be their best album front to back since Empire. I am being deadly serious. I can’t stop listening to it. Casey Grillo on drums is a f***ing monster on this record. And Todd La Torre is so freaking on point. The Songwriting is fantastic. They really brought out the prog metal influences on this one (Maiden and DT in particular). Just a fantastic listen that get’s better and better each and every listen.

I'm trying to find a copy of this ghost novel. Stephen King's thoughts about it make it seem like a must read. This is what he said: "Hell House is the scariest haunted house novel ever written. It looms over the rest the way the mountains loom over the foothills."
