I know, I know. Lots of different polemics re: "Freeze", but it's a favorite of mine. And still, after 15 years, this song continues to amaze. Like how it goes from 6/8 to 5/4 to 4/4, mimicking the dwindling choices one has before they reach the "fight or flight" moment - at which point there's only two choices - indicated by that triumphant chorus in a slow 4/4; how when we make that ultimate choice, it's the only one we have. I love this band.3 points

I'm so glad you got to go! From your video, it seems like you had a good view of Geddy from where you were sitting; that's awesome.3 points

And yes, he did make reference to Neil not being there, but included him in their well wishes to Yes. it was such a thrill to see them there.3 points

Omg, Jeff Lynne's wig... That's nothing, Letterman and that beard is horrifying. :codger: That's nothing. Steve Howe and that beard are horrifying! He looks like the creepiest Who from Whoville. Two horrifying images. :P The Cryptkeeper was there?! ( :P )3 points

Hate to be a Negative Nancy but I have to say it and be honest....his playing is great as always but Geddy's bass is ugly as hell with those colors I wish he stuck to playing just black or red or even white guitars instead of the "every color of the rainbow sometimes all at once" kick he's been on since CA Some of us love that green bass! :P I don't care about the color of the bass, just the sound it makes when he plucks the strings3 points

Counterparts came along at the lowest point of my life,a drunken ,divorced, broke and living in a one room shed with nothing but a boombox, box of cds /tapes and couldn't give f*ck.Scraped the cash together to get Counterparts cd and things started to get better. No it ain't Hemisperes but the band came roaring back particularly Alex after a couple of "light" albums.I still have that scratchy cd and boombox. Its moments like this that hold me to Rush.3 points

Periscope is back on TRF. I've missed this, since 2015. Thanks for the link. No way that they induct Yes before ELO and Joan Baez. Well, I hope so!!! YES must be the highlight of the evening.3 points

Someone is periscoping the Hall of Fame ceremony!! We can see Yes and Geddy inducting them live later tonight! Also, Alex is supposed to play in the closing jam. Here is the link- https://www.periscop...Q?channel=music2 points

You won't win friends or regain them talking like this. Disgusting GNP. Stick to TOST it might be best for all of us. Well that's rude. I am not disgusting. Excuse me but your attitude is ridiculous in these posts and very arrogant. Don't smack me down with accusations of rudeness. You are old enough to grow up now. Every day we read this ridiculous, across the board, drama. Get a grip. Not everyone likes you. Not everyone will like you. It appears many do like you. Be content with that.2 points

Oooh, thanks! Don't they both look great? Healthy, and excited to be there. I love Alex doing his different smiles for the cameras!2 points

No, they didn't go yet, on Twitter it says after Tupac will be Journey, Nile Rogers, Prince tribute and then Pearl Jam. Cool, maybe we see them later in a Lee, Lifeson, Pearl jam. :smoke: It would be nice if they did Rockin In The Free World with Neil Young. I'd be up for watching that. Looks like I need to come back in about an hour then.2 points

245. The Demon Seed (1977). Julie Christie is terrorized when Proteus IV, a computer program written by her husband ( Fritz Weaver) designed to control the functions of the house, takes over. Proteus IV holds Julie hostage in the house, with the intention of impregnating her in order to take on a human form. Scary.2 points

I hope the person's battery holds out! It looks like they are going in the announced order in the Hall of Fame release- • ELO• Joan Baez• Journey• Pearl Jam• Tupac Shakur• Yes Award for Musical Excellence:• Nile Rodgers So it looks like Geddy and Yes might be last . . .worth waiting for though!!2 points

Spent the morning and early afternoon at the Barrett-Jackson collector car show and auction in Palm Beach. Walked about first, looking at vehicles that were being sold or already were sold. Checked out the exhibitors hall and got to sit behind the wheel of a 2017 Viper, OMG what a RUSH! Then went into the staging area where the vehicles are prepared before going into the main hall and onto the auction block. Chevrolet Performance displayed a nasty looking 1969 Chevelle resto-mod with a 376 crate motor; body in a sharp black metal flake. Talked with a Ford rep about the Explorer, as that will likely be my next actual vehicle purchase (if the price of the Viper didn't do me in, the costs of insurance would). The TV broadcasts of the show are nice, but seeing the vehicles close up was too cool. Then went to bar owned by a family of ex-Detroiters for a taste from home. Coney dogs and chili fries. Have mercy!2 points

Very cool! I'd love to see photos of your new beaut if possible! I will when I get it in my home next week. The seller was very understanding of my current situation regarding my better 1/2. I can tell you I am so excited and have realized I am going to get the best of enjoying my mini mid-life crisis :P Most men who go through this phase buy convertible sports cars I got a pinball machine :LMAO: :D2 points

They really went there with that silly tiger? I've missed the last few episodes. I just don't feel the characters anymore. And I don't find Negan all that menacing. I've just lost interest2 points
