I'm going to tune in too, although I will also be grading papers. Somehow I'll figure out how to do both. Hopefully my comments won't be things like "you haven't properly acknowledged your sources, you need to do more proofreading, and you messed up the beginning of The Spirit of Radio."

Attended the Friday show and just got back to Japan. wow,It was quite a night to remember. Been a bit nervous for travelling by myself but it was worth it! (and thanks everyone that made kind advice to me!) And Losing it! I heard Ben Mink lived in Vancouver (Geddy said so in the interview around MFH release period) and wonder if he still lives there. But when they dived into Headlong Flight after the first song, I cried out. But it seems only me to notice in my section. (Almost all of my section sat during the entire show except a few songs! And the woman next to me left her seat in the middle of Losing it! What!?) Alex seemed to regain his playful self. What you're doing cracked me up. This was Alex we know and love! two down point for me I wanted to do "as if to fly.." Show flied too fast, like a dream. I wish I could see them again. Great show anyway!

UFO covered "Alone Again Or" on Lights Out & Phil Mogg hated it, he wanted to do his own songs but the A&R men forced them to put it on. I think I'll listen to Forever Changes today. Haven't heard it in years.

I think I have mentioned this in another thread before but, the most favorite part of the show for me was when the curtian raised for the 2nd set and I got to tell my lovely "That is what the stage looked like the 1st time I saw them" Really the icing on the cake as the whole show was a spectical that I was trying to absorb and hold every moment in captivity knowing that truely this may be the last.

I love the mid section of Marathon. It's right up there with Freewil's for me. All three doing completely different things in their instruments and kicking ass.

If you don't like drum solos and you don't like Neil's drum solos, that's fine. If you do like drum solos, however, but you don't like Neil's drum solos...
