So continuing to dogpile and taunt several days after any fresh provocation has occurred is 'nice?' That's an interesting new usage of the word. I guess it's probably intelligent, mature and compassionate as well, in this fascinating world of Internet parlance.4 points

Maybe it's time to shut this down. But in all fairness, this thread has more of the "Get it together and come back"-kind of posts than the "Don't let the door hit you" ones.3 points

I'm so sorry you're stuck with those. Hope you can figure out something to do with them. She did. Are we going to get a lame ass apology about her being drunk and not even remembering arguing about donuts and zagnuts??3 points

02 May 2014 Friday The Bee Hummingbird Hummingbirds might be known for their furious wing-flapping, but that avian family also lays claim to the smallest bird in the world. The bee hummingbird, found in Cuba, measures a little more than 2 in. (5 cm), counting the bill and tail, and weighs about 2 grams — roughly the equivalent of two dimes. http://i.imgur.com/I0cb3tp.jpg http://i.imgur.com/VoSEAsT.jpg http://i.imgur.com/qfyRaYV.jpg http://i.imgur.com/BDrYKUJ.jpg http://i.imgur.com/zQJNk9W.jpg3 points

33 years made my day. Pretty proud of that to be honest. 33 years ago today I married my one and only bride to date. Happy 33rd to Sandra and I.... :d13:3 points

Happy Anniversary Michael!!! I've enjoyed our friendship so much. In my house I hangs a picture of your smiling family. Every time I walk by it I have pleasant thoughts. I hope you, Katrin, and Felix are doing well. Your kindness made this household glow during Christmas. I'll always treasure the memory of mutti and I eating the German treasures you sent. The day we meet will be a great day. All hail the River Rhine Burgermeister!2 points

There always needs to be a title ending in "er", and this fits the bill nicely :haz: Actually I checked this and every single Priest album has at least one "er" song except Nostradamus and Jugulator, (which comes close with two songs ending in "or"). :haz: Yeah. I think I remember reading someone saying that what the Nostradumus album really needs is a song called Prophesizer2 points

Patron Lunazul Silver, of course. No sh**! I will be relaxing on the beach a week and a half from now and the Margaritas will be just what the doctor ordered. :digi:2 points

Its the grand mix bag. A strong foundation of hard rock, with layers of heavy rock, progressive rock, and finally synthesized rock. and sitting above this ground you can find trace amounts of other influeces that though not part of the foundation itself, contributes to them overall, this being electronics, country, rap, blues, and world music. Make up objects yourself for those, anyway, if Rush were a planet, that would be how it is defined.2 points

Are there any forks or donuts? forks yes. Crab rangoon yes. Donuts no. Well just wait for the crab rangoon to cool down before you try anything. Too late...burned my tongue and actually had to spit it on a plate. Freakin' lava2 points

I definitely share your love of ATWAS. I say this often, but ATWAS and Unleashed In The East by Judas Priest are the best live albums known to man. :codger: I only think Strangers In The Night even comes close for me. I would put it right behind ATWAS and in front of If You Want Blood You've Got It then JP...... Just my opinion :codger: I have them all Strangers is definitely top 5 :haz:2 points

The Derby has far, far too many variables - too many horses competing just because they got the points (it's a stupid qualifying system that Churchill Downs International came up with starting last year) by finishing third in a high-points qualifier, horses that haven't run well ever on a true dirt surface. . . . I could go on but I won't. The cavalry charge to the first turn has often doomed the best horse in the field before they've even gone 3/8 of a mile. This is the first Ky Derby in eons that hasn't had a full field - but it's 19 instead of 20, BFD. If you're looking to bet you can never, ever discount a horse that Calvin Borel is riding - he is fabulous at Churchill Downs with 3 wins in the past decade. This year he's got the mount on Ride On Curlin. Lately I've been following Australian and European racing a with a lot more interest than US racing. They tend to actually, you know, race their horses instead of hustling them into retirement the breeding shed the minute the horse wins a big race. Especially the Aussies, whose horses also seem to be made of much sturdier stuff. I will watch the Derby but I don't stay glued to all of the pre-race stuff like I used to - too much focus on celebridiots, what they're wearing, and their stupid stories about "I'm betting on so-and-so because I love his name - it starts with the same letter as mine!" I'm far more interested in the 2 big ones in England tomorrow - the 2000 Guineas (3 year-old colts, 1 mile) and the 1000 Guineas (3yo fillies, 1 mile).2 points

Is it possible to sleep with Geddy and Alex and then all three of us be too tired to laugh? :laughing guy: <------ Look, I'm laughing now. Which means I have yet to experience the above mentioned. I think my brain just melted... :fury: With the roles of Geddy and Alex being played by...ahem, two other gentlemen, I have experienced that particular scenario. I'll spare the lurid details but I'll leave you with this: Don't knock it until you try it! ;) And, yes...you are tired afterwards :P ) You can PM me their phone numbers. :rfl: :rfl: :rfl: :rfl:2 points

I always enjoyed BTO's radio tunes back in the day. I like Lorraine am old enough to remember the regular airplay they got. Great catchy grooves and sing along lyrics and hard to stay still when they were on. I never investigated them any further. By the time I really got into music I dove straight into Rush, AC/DC etc around 1976...... :)2 points
