Here...let me fix that for you. http://mamzellecha.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/ugly_man.jpg That picture was supposed to have been suppressed! Pretty sure that was your mug shot when you got picked up for solicitation that one time... :P You looked really good that night. Not like a cop at all. Just to be fair, here's a picture of me undercover the night I busted Sheldon: http://gothamist.com/attachments/nyc_arts_john/081908cop.jpg Nope...not like a cop at all.5 points

I couldn't see your testicles at all. Surprising considering how short that damn skirt was and that I wasn't wearing any underwear. Well, if that chick truly had testicles, I'd be ghey if I didn't solicit her.3 points

Here...let me fix that for you. http://mamzellecha.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/ugly_man.jpg I want to laugh but I don't know if that would be appropriate. If Sheldon can post that silly goat licking gif every time a part of the female anatomy is mentioned, you can laugh at this. It was meant in total jest. Sheldon is one of my favorite peeps around here.3 points

I am okay, thank you so much for asking. :) Fortunately I was able to bail her out of jail, however she is facing quite an extensive list of charges: ☆Driving On A Suspended License ☆Expired Tag ☆Driving Without Insurance ☆Running A Red Light ☆Not Wearing A Seatbelt ☆Eluding An Officer All of the money we have accumulated for moving is now going towards this, and I’m not even one-hundred percent certain as to whether or not she will be returning to jail. Everything always goes wrong all at once it seems, although it could be much worse, I suppose. I am beyond grateful for everything I do have right now. The songs The Enemy Within, Marathon, Prime Mover, and Survival (a song from Yes’ debut album) are helping me get through this. It’s amazing how music enables you to maintain a positive perspective even when it seems all hope is lost. Music truly is “a beacon in the darkness”. Should anything else transpire, I will let you guys know. I'm sorry I did not update my situation sooner. I thank everyone for being so kind and empathic... I will be keeping all of you in my thoughts. The expired tags, suspended license and no insurance are probably done deals since those are difficult to argue against. But, I did offer you some advice on the others. Check your messages :) From what I could gather from Florida code, this is what I found: Expired tags is an infraction - No jail time, pay a fine Insurance violation is an infraction - No jail time, pay a fine and possible license suspension. Suspended License: First conviction is second degree misdemeanor - punishable by $500 fine Second conviction is first degree misdemeanor - punishable by $1,000 fine Third or any subsequent convictions is a third degree felony - punishable by $5,000 fine and possible jail time I couldn't find if misdemeanors carry jail time in Florida. I know that, in my state, misdemeanors and felonies do not have grades - they are one or the other. Misdemeanors carry a possible sentence of up to a year in jail. Jail time for felonies is determined by the specific crime committed. I have rarely ever seen a person spend much time in jail for a suspended license though. I think they would have to be a habitual offender in order for that to happen. She should have access to a public defender, so they could clarify these points for her better than I can.3 points

I love that one. At first I was unsure about the two killers, but I think it works, because no other killers in the history of the show underestimate Columbo as much as these college kids... and it's great watching them realise they've been outsmarted. Also, it's great to see three-time Columbo killer Robert Culp show up again. I like Robert Culp in that football one where he's like in the director's box watching the game and scheming to set up murder. Yeah, that's a good one. I think the first Columbo I ever saw was the one with Robert Culp where he puts the subliminal pictures in the movie to make the guy thirsty...then Columbo uses the same trick on him at the end, so that he leads him to the evidence.3 points

Just wanted to let everyone know that tomorrow morning 10:00 am is my septum and sinus surgery. Assuming all goes well I will be home not long after surgery. Hopefully I will be able to post some sort of update tomorrow evening or night for those interested. I am hopeful that this will be the end of this health crap for a while and I will feel great after a few days to a week of recovery time.... :)3 points

^^^^^^^ All of those emotions for sure. I am not sure how to explain this but these dudes and this band are more important than any music or musicians in my life. They are my John Lennons if you will. I know when they are done and especially if they start leaving this earth before I, that my own mortality will most certainly come into complete focus. These guys and this band were majorly important to me in my youth and still matter nearly 40 years later. Their end will happen eventually and I want to be there to experience all the emotions.... :)3 points

Heresy is a good song; I especially like the lyrics. It would probably be pretty boring for every person at the show who wasn't a super hardcore fan, but I would enjoy it. I would also like to hear Resist but only the acoustic version; I like the studio version but I feel like it wouldn't come across very well live2 points

Originally I had the two epic songs from Rocka Rolla, Dying to Meet You and Run of the Mill in the set, but I decided to drop them, I wasn't sure how they'd sound in an updated form. I remember that. I love Dying To Meet You. It's a brilliant tune. "Synchronised watches flash in the sunlight...." Aye!! :haz: Actually they may do something like this, I heard that they are planning something this year to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the release of Rocka Rolla. So either they've bought out Gull records and will do 40th anniversary editions of Rocka Rolla and Sad Wings, or a special live album or do some Rocka Rolla tunes live. Or maybe something else altogether. That would be most welcome news. I have avoided buying Rocka Rolla just to prevent those bastards at Gull from getting a single penny from me. What about Sad Wings of Destiny? I always thought it was just the first album. Damn. Well, the greatness of SWoD would have caused me to "suspend" my principles so i could own the album, regardless. The first album is worth having actually, are you familiar with it? Here's a track from it:2 points

Music has been a beacon in the darkness for many of us along our journey through life. Sometimes it is the only friend you have. I've been thinking that you are a candidate for The Who's Quadrophenia.2 points

I know what you mean. I hate the word "bonded", but I have "bonded" with these men. I agree completely. Other than my main family and friends, these guys mean more to me in my life than anyone else. They've been there through thick and thin, the bad and the good and have always pulled me through. It's like a musical marriage of the very best kind. Neil's lyrics influenced me a lot when I was young and many still strike me as very profound. Geddy has inspired me to grasp new heights as a bass player, and Alex has been there as well. They've been the soundtrack to my life.2 points

I purchased "A Farewell to Kings" when it was first released and saw them for the first time on that tour. The album and show was simply amazing. You are quite right in saying that "Closer to the Heart" is all that received radio air play. But, it was enough to attract newer fans...even girls! :) I think this album solidified the breakthrough they had with "2112" and "All the World's a Stage". I played this album more times than I can count and to this day it is still my most favourite Rush album.2 points

Mmmm, there are about 30 other songs I'd prefer. I like the lyrics and the music captures the intent perfectly, but it's one of those songs that an occasional play sustains me for quite some time. 2 tours in a row was plenty.2 points

If I knew it were the last Rush concert ever I'm sure I would be choked up and very probably crying. And I would be hoping it never ended. (And if I'm ever in that situation I REALLY REALLY hope the last song is one I love!) I know Rush probably doesn't have a lot of tours left in them so I went to see several shows during the CA tour, and I will go to as many as I can during their next tour(s). Gotta see them while I still can! I found that seeing several shows during the same tour made it much easier to remember the songs. It wasn't so fleeting, and it helps cement the memories.1 point

I also like ITIGB. I see it as sort of an AC/DC song on steroids, with some added complexity and thought provoking lyrics. I also like Lakeside Park, particularly the drums. It is a different style than Neil normally plays, but great just the same. I also love the nostalgic "Everyone would gather on the 24th of May…" verse. I always think of happy childhood memories when I hear it.1 point

I love ITIGB and Lakeside Park is one of my favourite slow Rush songs. Bastille Day is my favourite song of the first three albums...the epics are both fantastic. The guitar work on this album is beyond superb...1 point
