  1. I've been a redhead, a brunette, a blond, have had black hair and even purple hair. I'm always fun. Don't matter the hair color. :P

  2. I was born a blonde, turned into a redhead around ages 7-10, and then ended up with a mousy brown with some red highlights in my teen years, which has stuck (I think) ever since. I wouldn't know 100% since I started dying my hair back to red when I was 14 and then I've been nearly everything (natural) looking under the sun since. Currently I am a blonde, do I have more fun? Not necessarily. I have to say that the redheads I know are always my 'most fun chicks to hang out with' out of all of my friends.

  3. Edie! This deserves a few songs by Edie's husband: "They say that the left side of the brain Controls the right They say that the right side Has to work hard all night Maybe I think too much for my own good Some people say so Other people say no no The fact is You don't think as much as you could hmmm" or, short and sweet- "The more I got to thinkin, The less I tend to laugh" Her hubby wrote some good ones Really one of the best lyricist ever, who else would have come up with "The words of the prophets are written on the subway walls, and tenement halls!" It is true. Paul Simon is one of the greatest lyricists and songwriters, ever. I love his performance too. I love Paul Simon's music. I have no idea if the RRHOF voters "know too much". I only know what I know, ya know? I know what I know I'll sing what I've said We come and we go It's this thing that I do in the back of my head Edit: cleaned up punctuation and such

  9. I know you live off of the grid... However I am right in the middle of the state that started it all... so I promise you that yes, it is real. http://www.pinkcheeks.com/ Also, you can already buy bleach for facial hair. Well, holy Jesus Christ... I've seen everything now. Question - Why does it matter what color your asshole is? Isn't that the part of your body where actual shit comes out? Even the most revealing of bikinis wouldn't show your asshole... Even if you walked around completely buck naked, you STILL wouldn't see your asshole. Unless, of course, you dropped your car keys and then you bent over (waaaaaaaaaaaaaay over) and your friend (a very, VERY good friend) used both of his or her hands and spread your buns waaaaay apart. Then, okay, I could see why one desire to have a "bleached asshole." Just wondering... (Off the gridness) And, I guess I could add quite frankly, that even though I haven't actually checked, I can assume that my asshole is brown. Why? Because shit comes out of it every day. Nearly every day... Maybe we should start a new thread, eh????????????????????????????????? These days you've got girls trying to shove 8 guys up their bungholes at once. http://i1239.photobucket.com/albums/ff508/blackcc/Smilies%20GIFs/hmm_zps43d63a5c.gif Links??? http://i1239.photobucket.com/albums/ff508/blackcc/Smilies%20GIFs/ohnoes_zpsc1e9b5fe.gif It was an exaggeration (I hope). If I had actually witnessed something like that I'd be here crying... still. I'll send you some links. :laughing guy: Just tell me how many simultaneous penetrations you can handle seeing. :LMAO: That depends on who's starring. If it's Ron Jeremy then I can handle zero. I c I surely Hope to hear Kid Gloves and Lock and Key once again! :codger: Heck, give me Turn The Page!!i I completely agree what a little kick @ss gem Turn the Page is. Great solo by Alex as well. just a great sounding bass tone on the whole damn thing....Geddy really evolved during PoW/HYF era. I agree I love the bass sound/ Mix on POW/HYF! I really wouldn't mind hearing another album produce by Peter Collins! :codger: yeah it'd be nice to hear Pete on board again, HOWEVER, Nick needs another shot...CA proved he knows where to take the boys in terms of musical direction. More please! Oh Yeah, Nick definitely deserves another shot. hopefully he can get them to write an Epic 9+ minute songs this time out. :dweez:  I'm telling ya, Steven Wilson should produce the next Rush album. I know that it will never happen but, just imagine if it did. :haz:

From what I've heard it's a "good" kind of hurt right? Nothing wrong with the Hedgehog—more power to him!!! No, not a good kind of hurt. Good Lord no. More like, I need bleach for my eyes kind of hurt.

  18. There's no way I could be in the first row at a Rush concert because I'd end up getting a full on Johnson. Geddy would probably notice me trying to hide this "fact" and it would be a very awkward situation, especially considering that I'm not even .000000000000000001% gay. Geddy isn't either.

  22. I've heard that they have almost a "NO PROG" policy, I can understand why they wouldn't nominate KISS, but the others you mentioned are inexcusable, they induct Guns n Roses, and Metallica, but no King Crimson, Rush, Yes or ELP? I just don't get it... To further your point, they elect Metallica while ignoring a decade of varying types of Metal. I mean didn't bands like Maiden, Priest, and so on have a cultural affect on the decade they were in? While I'm not the metal fan I was in my younger days, Maiden and Priest had a HUGE impact and influence. The only reason I'm not more vocal about them getting in is because there's still some MAJOR acts that pre-dated them that deserve to get in first. Regardless, they deserve to be in without question.

  25. :goodone: "The Final Cut" is an amazing and underrated album, that is, indeed, a fact! :goodone: If by that you mean horribly depressing and therefore the only Pink Floyd album that is completely unlistenable despite stellar production values, then I agree too. Seriously though, The Final Cut is PInk Floyd's Vapor Trails, except with superior sound quality, but the album is still pretty bad - should have been a Roger Waters solo album. If anything, it's way overrated, even though it's generally considered to be Pink Floyd's worst. That, my friends, is a FACT. ;) Yeah, because you say so, holy overlord of piffle and nonsense. Shouldn't you be in another room pissing all over VT, coz that schtick is so hilarious, and is not old at all. Some of us love The Final Cut. Get over it. The thread is about individual forum member favourite Floyd songs, is it not? Or is just another vehicle for the archduke of progland to lord over us??? Hmmmmmmm???????????? Oh yeah, ahem, ;) And your top 50 sucks! Truly. HA&S, dude, stop beating around the bush and tell me how you REALLY feel. ;) alright, alright, i know i'm way too in love with my opinions. too late to change that now. but just MAYBE you think my top 50 list sucks because its awesomeness terrifies you? :P ok, prolly not. if i ever do another radio show, i am SO using the nickname "the archduke of progland" :ebert: I don't mean to ostracize you for your opinion, but how can one not like "The Final Cut"? It has a beautiful contrast between orchestration, and Gilmour's droning guitar solos, and the lyrics are truly melancholic and still hold up politically today. It is essentially a Roger's solo album, but aren't all Pink Floyd albums after Meddle essentially Roger's albums? It's not their best, in my opinion, but it's up there. Feel free to ostracize away! :P I don't think it's fair to say everything after Meddle is a Roger Waters solo album. Yes, from DSOTM on, his influence got stronger and stronger, but the other members still had a lot of input, at least up to a point. DSOTM was about life and things that drive people mad, but still it's hopeful and deep. WYWH definitely has a lot more cynicism, save for Shine on You Crazy Diamond, which was a beautiful Syd tribute - still, great Pink Floyd atmosphere abounds. By Animals, it was really starting to get dark, but the music was so damn phenomenal that I still enjoy it, if not as much as I did when I was younger. The Wall is starting to get really dark and often depressing. I used to love it, but now I can't listen to it except for certain songs like Comfortably Numb and a handful of others. Still, it's a brilliant concept and incredibly realized, if somewhat overblown and pretty bleak. The other members still had some influence, especially musically, but by then it was getting to be more of the Roger Waters show. By the time of The Final Cut, the other members had practically no influence, and Richard Wright was out of the band entirely. David Gilmour wasn't happy with it at all, but his voice was really drowned out by that point. And really, no offense meant to those who like or love the album, but take a look at the lyrics and compare them to anything pre-Animals. What the hell happened? Someone took Pink Floyd, this group that were masters of atmosphere, made surreal masterpieces and deep commentaries about life and replaced it with this bleak, depressing, political agenda. And guess what? Roger's father died in the war. :sarcastic: I feel for the guy, but wasn't The Wall cathartic enough for him? Did we really need to keep hearing about it? Basically, I really have no interest in solo Roger Waters material, and The Final Cut, for all intents and purposes, was a solo Waters album, just with cool guitars and fantastic production. I find the subject matter depressing and unlistenable. Again, if you enjoy it, great... but you asked! ;)
