i will be there section 100 row L...i been a huge rush fan for ever but this is only my second show. my first was at Smirnoff also last seated row.. this time i spent a lot stub hub tickets, but hope its worth it

Hey, me too! I just bought a ticket on the center aisle in row L, section 100 - woo hoo! Found it on eBay biggrin.gif

do you know what seat number you have

No; the guy I bought it from hasn't received it from Ticketmaster yet. He said it was on/near the inside aisle, though. Modern-day scalper, no doubt, but I was happy with the price which, at $159, was probably close to face value. It's my birthday present to myself! laugh.gif

mine are 26,27,28,29 im hoping that is close to the aile next to section 101, that way i will be closer to the center...last time i saw them i was in the last row of seats so im pretty jazzed up about being this close.so is my son he is 18 and his first show was rush last time also..i paid about 160.00 for my tickets also but hell its worth it

Those seats will be very near the center isle on Ged's side. Enjoy! trink39.gif

Dude! Did you ever luck out. I haven't seen anything offered in the center section during the regular on sale since I started buying on line a decade ago. Everything in the first 20 rows is always off to the side. Well done! trink39.gif

I've got a couple of friends that live above the A bar, so I'll probably get there early. If you're there by a little after 5, you can park on the street for free, and it's only about a half mile walk through fair park to the venue. Just don't let me get started on giving a fp tour, or I'll talk your ear off. schla03.gif

I haven't been to Dallas in ages; is it safe to walk around down there after-hours? It would be great to leave the car at the bar and walk over to the show but I don't want to get mugged on my way back...

By the way, how is public transportation downtown? I'm staying at the Adolphus on Commerce Street, which looks a bit too far from Fair Park to be walking all the way. It'd be great to be able to take a bus from the hotel to the bar, then walk to the concert with a bunch of new-found friends. biggrin.gif

Oohhhh, the Adolphus eh? Well, la tee da. tongue.gif new_thumbsupsmileyanim.gif That's one of the most beautiful old buildings in the state. Take a good look at the facade from a distance while you're there. There's a big bus stop right across from the Amsterdam bar, but if you're staying at the Adolphus, spend the $15 and take a cab if you don’t want to risk your car. Just tell them Exposition and Parry. You'll be glad you did; the Dallas transit system is ridiculous, and one of us will be sure to give you a ride back. As to the safety issue, no worries. There are high priced condo’s on expo now, and the street is always full of nice cars. Just get there early to get a parking spot. As to walking from the bar and back, as long as there are three or four of us we'll be just fine, and fair park has a police station in it, and is always patrolled, particularly on event nights. I’ve even been known to wander fp alone at night, but that’s just me. ph34r.gif

um... tongue.gif

I'm attending a business conference there the following week - good timing, huh! laugh.gif If it wasn't for that I'm sure my company would be putting me up in a Ramada out at the airport... biggrin.gif

The cab idea sounds good - I'll do that, and leave my car at the hotel. One less thing to worry about!

I just found out my seat is #24 on row L, section 100. Woo-hoo!

Welcome! Good seats! I'm a Geddy fan, though, so I had to be over in section 100 biggrin.gif

We'll be meeting up at the Amsterdam bar near Exposition & Parry. Um... not sure when... unsure.gif definitely BEFORE the show, tho! laugh.gif

Well met, rushman! smile.gif You're a couple rows in front of me and a bit more toward center. Looks like the pre party is going to be at the Amsterdam bar at Exposition and Parry. I'm good for directions if anyone needs 'em.

I'll be at this one along with my buddy Justin "Hiney". Also for the second time on this S&A tour our little 10 year old buddy Patrick(SullySue's Son) will be joining us ... the kid gets a better seat than Mom, again. tongue.gif

2.gif On!

It's crazy, huh? laugh.gif That's cool, though. It's his birthday, and he's still reeling from seeing the last show from 3rd row center. Anything for my little drummer-in-training. smile.gif

What's crazier yet is they're all half Italian! wacko.gif I have my hands full, that's for sure. We'll definitely hang out, man. I'm not sure about the Amsterdam for me, but we'll have to plan on a place to meet at the Smirnoff (or whatever the hell it's called now). And, the way things are going around here, I'm predicting snow for the show. laugh.gif

Northern Italian I'm guessing? confused13.gif Well, it just doesn't get much more American than that in any case. smile.gif At this point snow wouldn't suprise me. My potatoes are already a couple of inches tall, and it's going to be 25 degrees tomorrow night. angry.gif I'm going to have to tarp them and use light bulbs to keep them warm. eh.gif Denton got 7" of snow today, and here in Terrell there was not a single flake. Well, Florence. biggrin.gif

I swear, dude. I have this HUGE part of the backyard ready to till for my garden, and the weather keeps f***ing with me. angry.gif You know, living in North Texas sucks. It's too unpredictable. angry.gif Snow Friday. 45-50º Saturday, 65-75º Sunday. WTF? I'm sure we'll have big giant rainbows and meet and greets by Jesus Christ himself by Monday. eyesre4.gif

(Would it be wrong to ask him for front row tickets and a good tomato season? tongue.gif )

Finally got my seat numbers from the SRO camp ... Section 100, Row E (aka 5th), Seats 18-20

That should be aisle seats on Geddy side.

My little buddy Patrick(SullySue's son) will be joining us this time "officially". Last time I snuck him up when we were on row 4 center.

What a way to spend his second concert. This time the whole show from the front while Mom is back on the lawn. tongue.gif

But Mom is joining us the next night on Row 8 ... so that should make up for it.
