So Saturday as most of you know, We had another meeting of the mindless at SlackAbob's house in Queens. This time we were joined by Pags as we tore up Slacker's neighborhood. We all agreed that it's so cool that within minutes of meeting we all felt like long time friends. I can't say enough about the validity of friendships made through THIS board and the internet. There was a time I wouldn't have believed that, and I'm betting the other three guys felt that way at one time themselves. Anyway... here's a few pics of the latest adventure. Oh... and we "found" a new friend as well that somehow just seemed too appropriate for the gathering. You'll all meet him in a few posts as well. Enjoy. Pags had just suffered a long traffic tie up and I'd just gotten off a cramped subway and bus trip that left me in a bit of agony with my heel. But we were greatly anticipating the night to follow. We go to this bar and we're doing the normal stuff that four guys who meet through the internet do. We drink a lot and stare at all the scantily clad young women surrounding us. SlackA gets up and goes to the crane machine to waste a few dollars trying to win a stuffed animal. So the thing is packed with all kinds of toys and animals and what does he win? I'm pretty sure it was his first try too, cuz I'd just gone to the jukebox to check out if they had any songs (which they didn't... btw. ). This was in a sub-folder marked "TRF BOYS - PRIVATE". Curiosity got the better of me, and I must say that when I saw what was inside, I was quite frankly shocked. Now, I hate to be the "bad guy" here and show this photo, but I think most people will agree I made the right decision here. Obviously a lot of work went into this photo, and it just plain needs to be seen. I hope that Necro and the boys will be able to forgive me. I don't know what the hell you guys did this week-end that you haven't told us about, but I think this photo at least gives us a clue of some of the shenanigans you were up to. She's been a very gracious host THREE times now to me on these trips and I could never thank her and her husband enough for the hospitality they've shown me, Tick and Pags on these stays at their house. Slack will have to fill you in better on this story, but they made a WHALE out of parts of houses that were torn down in the area. Pags was in a climbing mood and began to climb the whale when pieces of the molded tiles and glass started coming off the thing. I seem to be having problems with any of the pics that I have to autocorrect. They don't seem to be coming out to well on the board, but they look fine on my computer. Is this how it is for you guys too? The first pic of the last post was autocorrected and it looks terrible on the board on my comp, but it looks great in my file. Hmmmm. Give me some feedback. Could be just my comp. I HATE 56K. It's been a bitch getting these up. I know Pags has some new pics he wants to post as well, so go ahead Pagsy... post away. I'm done for a bit.
