Worst penalty call of the year?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6Yqzsc2v1I

It's up there with the phantom holding call on the Seahawks vs. the stealers that both Chris Collinsworth (former player) and Terry McCauley (former official) said on air didn't happen in a game earlier this year. They tried mightily for nearly 5 minutes in New York to not award Seattle the ball when the rapist (allegedly) fumbled it. But you know, they found a way to take away Seattle's momentum with the phantom hold on the first play after change of possession. Gee, where had I seen that same crap with the same teams before? Oh yeah Super Sham XL*.

Holy forking crap! Detroit did it and nearly choked!

The Vikings' defense has a lot of 'splainin' to do about that last play.

Garappo-lol!

......is proof that even if you have an excellent roster and a quality Head Coach if you have a mediocre or worse QB you're fukked.

Patriots only threw the ball three times last night, and instead ran the ball right through the Bills defense. At one point the Pat's ran it 32 straight times.

Wow!

So I know a lot of people don't much care for Joe Buck, but if you're a Seahawks fan or someone who doesn't care for Peyton much, you'll love this:

Wow!

A reporter asked key Bills defensive players if they were "embarrassed". Remove the one big breakaway run and another 20-yarder and the Patriots' avg was 3.5 yards per carry. NE only scored 14pts. Buffalo's defense did their job.

Just getting that warmed up for LABT over the next decade.

I watched several shorts docs on Brady today. What a career, with such relatively humble beginnings. Whatever one thinks of his physical attributes, it's hard to question what he's achieved in terms of mental toughness and heart.

He can't be any worse than Brady was in Miami.

What about how Miami has been in every NFL city since, to be honest, the early 1980s? That bad?

Are the Dolphins bowl eligible? They've been on a cute little roll.

Brady's been worse.

Also, they had a rough patch in the early part of the season when they didn't get to play NE every week, only once. But kudos to Matt for not going out after the loss and getting a DUI.

Vikings hang on, avoid the biggest choke in NFL history by knocking a pass out of Friermuth's hands in the end zone as time expires.
