It's ironic, but more so poetic justice, that in large part Penn State's loss to osu was due to two instances of illegal touching.

So will Washington State hire Utah's coach or Eastern Washington's? :outtahere:

No way we are letting Whitt go until he's ready to retire!! I finally got to see a home game, Utes beat UCLA 44-24. Great game and it is poetic that the Utah score is 22 times 2. We retired the number 22 of Ty Jordan and Aaron Lowe Saturday. All the PAC 12 teams had a red hash mark on the 22 yard line in tribute to them.

Playoff poll #1, first thoughts and conjecture:

Georgia, Oklahoma, and Michigan State all run the table. Is 'Bama out?

Oregon: Does losing to Stanford counter beating Ohio State?

Or is it still to early, and the playoff poll shite?

Wouldn't that give Alabama 2 losses by then if Georgia runs the table?

Yes sir it would. My concern is the CFPB has its cranium placed so deeply in the SECs rectum, they would overlook that minor faux pas.

I just don't see how Alabama gets in with two losses, especially since one was to a then-unranked team. Very much rooting for Georgia to steamroll them in the SEC championship.

News on the upset front...

Texas AM putting a defensive beat down on Auburn, who has only 3 points deep in the 4th quarter (3-17).

Purdue putting it to #5 Michigan St 34-21 with eight minutes to go.

#6 Ohio St just getting past an unranked Nebraska team 26-17.

#2 Cincinatti less than impressive against Tulsa, with a relatively slim 28-20 lead with five minutes left.

It's not over yet, but maybe Sparty is suffering a let down after the big win last week.

Purdue with the ball in the red zone...2nd and four at the 5yd line, 2:00 to go. Mich St has one timeout.

I think it's over.

The Purdue Michigan State result was pretty predictable. Michigan State was horribly overrated. Ohio State, who didn't play very well, should win by two tds or more.

Cincinatti got lucky in their game when the Tulsa QB inexplicably stopped short of the goal line late in the game. The next play was ruled a fumble as Tulsa tried to punch it in.

Fix?

Down 6 pts with six minutes to go, LSU has Bama pinned deep and they send NO pressure. Bama quickly gets out to the 30 yd line.

They'll probably move up to the #1 line in the CFP this week if they hang on.

LSU sees my post, sends pressure and gets the sack, the fumble and the ball!!!

You're welcome, everybody.

Bama's defense responds and is just manhandling LSU. 4th and 9 for LSU...

All out blitz and LSU shits the bed.
