Stanford takes down Oregon!

There goes any chance of the PAC 12 being in the championship mix.

Yep and it pisses me off. They were the only hope and it's already gone. Oregon is such a soft fukking program. Anyone with a physical o-line, usually Stanford, just runs all over them. Finesse teams are vulnerable to those type of offenses and they proved it yet again. Refs helped Stanford too but it never should have come to that. (btw, I'm a Cougs and Huskies fan so my rant is a neutral observation)

At least they knocked out OSU.

Don't be so sure. If the Pukeyes win out they'll get in. ESPN runs the playoff and some university in Ohio means ratings and that's what they care about. Same reason overmatched Notre Dame teams have been in the last couple of years. Kirk Douchestriet will literally jizzing on the air for his alma mater to get in over some other one loss team and will even politic for them over an unbeaten Cincy team if that's how it plays out.

4-0 Eastern Washington's QB Eric Barierre leads the FCS with 445.8 yds per game. Tonight he faces the Montana Grizzlies, who have given up only two touchdowns in their last three games (they are 3-0). Live on ESPN2, from the Inferno!

Right across from my college dorm room!

That field is awful, it must hurt the players' eyes. :scared: Even worse than the blue turf at Boise State :16ton:

I suppose they might still get in. But they do have to face off against Michigan still, who are undefeated so far... I'm not sure I can root for Michigan just to see OSU not make it to the playoff... but if I must...

To be fair, ND has never made it in without going undefeated in its regular season, and has never won a conference championship to help its chances. I'm not arguing there's no bias, but I think being an independent makes it so ND has to have a perfect record for consideration.

I prefer it to the blue.

My nieces graduated from Eastern in 2011 and I sat on that abomination for the ceremony. Terrible. Don't like it, don't like the blue at BSU. Old "get off my lawn" guy done with his crotchety rant.

What if we blended them together and made a lovely purple field, would that make you happy?

Oklahoma battles back from 21-down to tie Texas at 41 all!

And now OU takes the lead, 48-41. Was hoping for an upset myself, but I'm sure it's a fantastic game to watch with a comeback like that!

Arkansas scores with 1 second to go down 7, go for 2, and fail to lose 52-51.

And Kiffin acts like an asshole in the post game interview. Your team isn't good enough for that, Lane.

If only it had been someone besides this university. Bonus points tho for the public address announcer pronouncing Neil's last name correctly.

Watching the spectators in the stands at Penn State v Iowa doing "the wave" at the end of the first quarter brought tears to my eyes, having met similar hospitalized kids while undergoing chemotherapy. How very cool.

It's probably good that Sandusky and Paterno aren't on the Penn State sidelines, though.
