I don't even remember what the boss made me for lunch today. She spoils me. I was on a long conference call when she brought it in....

Oh yeah... frozen pizza from a local italian deli.

When you stop mowing it.

Seriously, if you live in a 4-season place, the end of October ought to do it.

You can always spruce it up every now and then if you think it is looking too rowdy.

I liked my grass always mowed too, but the more land you have, the more you have to mow;' and the older you get, the harder that is to do.

We have lawn maintenance where I am here. Now, that's the life!!! :coy: :ebert:

Someone made us lunch today.

Minestrone soup with fresh vegetables made from scratch.

Homemade cheese bread.

And for dessert, spice cake with a delicious icing.

I ate so much.

It was delicious

I love minestrone! I made Meatballs soup a few days ago using a minestrone-style base. It was delicious.

Ballpark Hot Dogs and buns and Bush Beans and potato salad and some kind of pasta salad.

Very good and hit the spot! :)

Man, do I love HotDogs! Chicago dogs, especially.

Are you talking about a bun with all the crap piled on where there may or may not be a frankfurter in there? Add that monstrosity to their pizza casserole and it's clear they don't know what they're doing with those two foods. :P

As for my lunch today, I had a ham and Meunster cheese sandwich with Ritz cheese and crackers and a Dr. Pepper.

Took a road trip to locate a beloved eatery that switched from brick and mortar in a strip mall to a space in the food court of a shopping mall.  Upon entering the court, I see signs of life-a mannequin in a Lions T-shirt, and empty Better Made potato chip bags pasted on the walls.  Stepped into Detroit Eats new space, ordered a couple of Detroit coney hot dogs-beef and pork, natural casing, w/ mustard, onions, and chili-and a half liter of "pop"-Faygo Root Beer.  While I'm savoring this repast another fellow is making short work of a Gunsberg's pastrami sandwich, and a group of 6 are demolishing a "Buddy's" Detroit style square pizza.  Afterwards I chat with the owners and leave with a cherished 2 liter of Faygo Rock and Rye.  Ahh, life is good!

Probably nothing. Maybe some reheated rice and beans if I feel like it. If I eat breakfast, I sometimes skip lunch. If I skip breakfast, I’ll eat lunch.
