Natural Science isnt even the best song on Permanent Waves. How it's winning against Xanadu is beyond me.

And Xanadu isn't even the best song on A Farewell To Kings

And we're in the midst of battle now!

Wondering if I want to switch allegiance to the pleasure dome because my preferences change periodically. Plus it would make the final voting interesting.

Either way, I make enemies :tempted:

Prog Rock is a spectrum and I`m somewhere on the very very near Rock with only a sprinkling of Prog thrown in.

Plus, I really don`t care for Coleridge`s nonsense poem. I prefer lyrics written by Neil that are about this world and this reality, not unrelatable fantasy :moon:

Guess which song these guys picked. Fast-forward to 1:25 to find out...

The guy on the left looks like he's got a really small head compared to the size of his hair/beard :o

Regarding the lyrics... it doesn't bother me either way, because I honestly pay little-to-no attention to lyrics when I'm listening to music anyway.

As an example, I'd been listening to Abbey Road for years before I even noticed there were only two lines being constantly repeated in I Want You (She's So Heavy)

As long as the music is good, I'd listen to a shopping list being sung

It`s why I listen to guitar instrumentalists... lyrics do matter to me and bad ones ruin my listening experience. It`s why I don`t like early Zep or Sammy VH etc. If the words don`t add anything, shut up! :tsk:

I'm sure people are accidentally voting to eliminate Natural Science.

This isn't a contest.

Only Hemispheres can really challenge Natural Science, and it wasn't available.

Nope. No accident. I prefer Xanadu. By a lot.

In fact, I prefer a lot of songs to Natural Science. Including most of the rest of Permanent Waves

If it wasn't for a couple of people including one person using coarse language, who changed to "2112" because of trying to get an advantage, it may've been "2112" in this final with "Xanadu". Zepp, didn't have a change of heart. He said: over the years, "2112" meant so much to him, but his favorite Rush song has always been "Xanadu". Edited by Derek19

Since we had a tie between the Genesis discography and Yes discography, I'll break the tiebreaker:

Genesis discography it is.
