One time I posted something on the Cygnus X-1.net Facebook group, which got a laugh from a couple of fellow fans.

I commented that 'Xanadu' by Rush and CCR's cover of ' I Heard It Through the Grapevine' were both the same time length.

Then someone else commented that half-speed mastering of vinyl records has an influence on the time length to an extent.

When I saw fan filmed footage of the 'Crossroads' jam from the 2013 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremonies, Geddy and John Fogerty give each other high fives and hugs at the end.

One disappointment is that the Hall of Fame edited out Fogerty's guitar solo on the official video clip.

Geddy's comments on 'Crossroads' posted by Rolling Stone here.

"John Fogerty didn't show up for any of the rehearsals, but he just showed up that night and it was like, 'Oh, hey man.'"

I read this comment where John Fogerty once mused that he was like a ‘60s version of Mark Twain’s Tom Sawyer as a kid, “the plaid shirt, barefoot, blue jeans, making rock ‘n’ roll.”

Then Neil Peart and Max Webster lyricist Pye Dubois co-wrote lyrics for the song 'Tom Sawyer'.

I'm sure they could probably relate to the above.

Last year, when individuals played the Facebook Album Challenge, two albums I selected that influenced me are Cosmo's Factory and Moving Pictures.

I was fortunate to see Rush perform Moving Pictures in its entirety on the Time Machine Tour.

A year later Fogerty performed Cosmo's Factory in its entirety on his John Fogerty Performs Live! The Albums of Creedence Clearwater Revival" Tour.

Starting a poll on a Rush site pitting Rush against a band that, while good in their own right, share nothing in common with Rush, thereby making it an unfair poll. Not sure what a blowout win for Rush will tell us.

Yeah I was scratching my head at this......a bit like clapping with one hand.

CCR wrote great songs and deserve a place in anyone's rotation.

A greatest hits collection of 20 songs by CCR would be woefully incomplete.

I joined a Rush forum.

So, Rush.

RUSH overall, but I'll take the full Suzie Q over a lot of RUSH's songs.

You really think Suzie Q is better than say, Anagram For Mongo? Really?

Because I sure do.
