I think I said here a month or so back that we`ll know if Kane is going, because we`ll be spending a load of money knowing it`ll be coming back in, just like we did with Bale all those years ago

Gollini in on loan with a view to £13m deal, to put some sort of pressure on the increasingly lazy and error-prone Lloris.

Negotiations with Sun & Moon Atalanta continue, hopefully to get Romero in as Alderweireld is off to Dubai next. Works for me, as long as Sanchez goes too as Toby`s anxiety pet.

Oh yes, friendly result - QPR 4-2 Man Utd. Have to enjoy these things when they happen... ...as this season could be a real stinker. Arsenal strengthening and Manchester clubs already rather useful, Liverpool chastened...Chelsea with egos massaged further by CL win... if Spurs finish 6th, celebration time. If I was Harry, I might well wonder what I`d look like in a sky blue kit

Gornik L 1 Cracovia 1 :codger: Crazy heel goal from Alvarez secures a draw away to the newcomer.

Podolski: home to retire, or to storm the Ekstraklasa?

His grandmother wanted him to finish his career at Zabrze and he's just fulfilling her wishes I think.

Not in the line-up today. Still out of shape.

If Gollini remains uninjured he will have a good career in front of him. Wishing him all the best.

Atalanta's asking more money from Spurs to get Romero. Anyway, he's soon to be sold, because he's worth the money.

I feel kind of bad that Spurs are looking to your club, as though you`re the one in the conference league and Spurs are the big boys. Same with Bryan Gil from Sevilla, but even a pandemic-hit Spurs have more money than most teams in mainland Europe.

Lamela goes after eight years. Still no idea what position he plays or what he can do, other than party tricks, but he has sharp elbows and the classic Argentinian ability to get reactions from opponents and fall over on demand, and I confess to having enjoyed his shithousery.

Sex for pleasure indeed. None of that for you :tsk:

I prefer not to wear anything during the proceedings.

Seems like Romero is now off to Spurs. :sigh: I'm happy for Cuti of course but sad for La Dea.

Matteo Lovato from Hellas Verona steps in to defense. Not a bad choice, I guess. Giuseppe Pezzella, a wing-back on loan from Parma, has also joined the club.

Josip Iličić may be leaving... to Milan? He has not gotten too much minutes on the field recently.

I'm not very fond of the new kits. https://www.atalanta.it/en/news/the-2021-2022-kits/ Nevertheless, the most important texts remain: "Atalanta Bergamo" and "La maglia sudata sempre".

I read somewhere that after this season, Serie A teams will not be allowed to wear anything green in order to help VAR decisions. Looks like Atalanta is already complying.

I had missed this information. Thank you for the tip. It seems like, according to Football Italia, the rule will be valid from 2022-23 season. No more jolly Atalanta Christmas tree jerseys in green...

The site also knows that Sam Lammers would be about to move from Atalanta to Genoa on loan. It would have been strange not to see this move. Lammers is a skilled player but could hardly get playing time last season.
