"Halo Effect" has been eliminated.

12. "BU2B2" (we didn't need a poll for this one, right?)

11. "Halo Effect"

It's probably a sign of how deep this album is that I'm changing my mind several times for both categories before finally clicking and saying "enough, already!"

I went with the herd on "Wish Them Well," but I do like that track, just least well, I suppose. "The Anarchist" is one that really improved for me in the live versions, "The Wreckers" has all kinds of mental associations that make it personal favorite, and the roll of "BU2B," "Headlong Flight," "Caravan," and "The Garden" (what a wonderfully melancholy closer!), is fantastic. I may be looking at the title track or Seven Cities next, forced by necessity . . .

I wish "Wish Them Well" well as it heads out of here. And I really like the song! This album is really the late career magnum opus. Top 5 Rush album for me, never get tired of it.

Also I noticed you used the vinyl cover as your profile picture hi_water, pretty cool.

Carnies.

Help me out here.

After "Wish Them Well" gets eliminated, people would most likely go for "Carnies" and "Seven Cities Of Gold"

Seven Cities is my second after Anarchist on this album,

And for me we're not near Carnies exit yet.

But I love this album and I'm happy no matter which song wins.

I swear Hi Water that a lot of people were hating this album. Not most, but more than made sense to me. In this forum.

Where are they? I don't know.

But all the accolades without any derision is making it look like I imagined the whole thing.

No complaints.

The album should be hailed.

During picking, and choosing Rush's songs from their c.ds, and albums, Water, has been putting photos, pictures, and images of what Rush's c.d., and album front covers are on his profile, and bio. For loving to liking Rush songs from "Clockwork Angels", here is mine.

the Garden

BU2B2/Wish Them Well

the Wreckers

Headlong Flight

(Tie. On "Snakes & Arrows", similar to "the Larger Bowl", and "Workin' Them Angels", these two songs can switch.) Caravan

the Anarchist

Clockwork Angels

BU2B

Carnies

(Tie) Seven Cities of Gold

Halo Effect

Perhaps sitting through lengthy polls of a bunch of late career albums that aren’t up to snuff reminded everyone how they felt when CA first came out.

The Garden, because I just want to piss a few people off at this point. :16ton:

I saw that someone voted for The Garden. WTF?? Then I saw it was Treeduck and it all made sense.

It's a measure of your strife...

Carnies rocks. And I love Alex's use of the "sheep effect". :haz:

Wish Them Well is painfully pedestrian in comparison. It gets my vote.

It must be because Alex played the piano part live, a blasphemy in his 100% heavy metal guitar playing career.

Love the opening riff to Carnies. Probably the dirtiest guitar tone Alex used since the 70s.

Great song, but not in that top group for me. "Carnies" probably after WTW and SCOG.

Plus the song is anchored by an archetypal Lifeson arpeggio.
