Big night for my Poch and his fancy new Parisian galacticos. Good luck to the man they call the world`s most handsome oil rigger.

Hansi Flick will be taking the national team job I suspect, so he doesn`t need to win

And all because some semi-professional Andorran berk landed on Lewandowski's knee. To be fair, Bayern was lucky it was Neymar on the end of some of these plays and not Mbappe. Referee made a fool of himself a few times, but they always do, don't they?

Any idea why the linesmen left his flag down whilst a lengthy move took place that started with a clear offside and culminated in Mbappe hammering it into the net, but flagged urgently to cease the move immediately when Mbappe was onside? I`m not loving this approach, any more than I enjoyed the VAR`s weird opinion that they couldn`t tell if West Brom`s Diagne was on or off yesterday, when he`d have needed a David Byrne jacket to be offside, bearing in mind the position of his feet.

I`m pleased for Poch, of course. If I was a chairman, I think I`d ask myself (before sacking anyone) "Should I back my manager properly to win titles with us, or shall I fire him and pay him £13million, then watch him win the titles elsewhere?"

Those were two of the strange moments in the game. They stopped the play when Mbappe was onside, and let it run when he was offside. There's some talk about taking the power away from linesmen in these situations all together.

Still, nice to see evidence that Lewandowski is indeed the key to all Bayern`s success, eh?

Not much of a competition. I like Coman and Muller, but they need Lewandowski for a target. Choupo-Moting, even though he scored in these two legs, is not the answer. Perhaps Bayern made a mistake not keeping Perisic. He would've been a useful replacement for RL9.

Choupo-Moting is forever a Stoke player in my eyes, and there is nothing he can do about that.

A must-win away game for Atalanta against Fiorentina tonight.

Job done, Fiorentina 2 - Atalanta 3. I'm not very happy with how the second half turned out to be, but 3 points whatsoever. Zapata and Malinovskyi gave a great performance, as did the talented Vlahović and Drągowski.

Poland always had great goalkeepers.

I intended to comment on this the other day, but forgot. How did Radosław Majdan let Doda slip through his fingers?

Hoping for a miracle tonight!!

A silent, empty Anfield... tonight, we`ll find out if the Kop truly do suck the ball in on the big European nights!

The answer would appear to be .... yes!

Salah will have nightmares about that early chance.

I'm not a tabloid kinda guy, but my guess she's not a one man woman.

Certainly chances in the first half but they just ran out of steam second half. They are just not good enough this year unfortunately.

They still had plenty in the tank late, when they kept Real inside Madrid's box, but maybe that's because the Spanish team was desperate to hold the game scoreless.

You may be right. It`s good that she gives opportunities to other men too. (I`m a very long way from being a tabloid kinda guy, BTW. I think I found her when I was looking for an image of an awesome blonde on whom to model a comic strip I was creating).

It`s true, if the front three are off then there`s nothing there around the box, no trickery or magic - which didn`t matter when the throttle was fully applied and everyone was fit. If only someone had had the foresight to say, "Jurgen! Don`t buy Thiago! He`s not the answer, even at £20m". He obviously wasn`t reading your posts, NC... Edited by IbanezJem

I would recommend Barbara Eden.

I had Doda as my screensaver at work a few years ago - IT said it was inappropriate and they were going to report me, but I said it was my niece so they let me keep it :laughing guy:

f**k, fuckety, f**k,f**k, f**k!

Bolton manage to lose to Grimsby, the worst team in the English leagues. Could have gone up to second or even top if Cambridge hadn’t won.

Bet Man U lose to Burnley tomorrow too just to top things off.

Atalanta - Juventus 1 - 0. Phew, what a game! I thought my heart was going to fail at around 86' with Malinovskyi's killer shot, just a moment before he at 87' hit another one that Szczęsny could not save. Edited by Sun & Moon

Legia 0 Cracovia 0 :madra: I was expecting a 5-0 loss so I'm happy.

Any notable highlights, except for the final whistle securing the draw?
