I can tell you it certainly isn't Loud Hailer. I damn near fell asleep when he played songs form it live.

Yeah. I didn't much like that one either

I like some of the songs on Flash.

Jeff doesn't sing at all, but it's cool when he does take the lead vocals on 'Get Workin', and 'Night After Night'.

I also like the instrumental 'Escape' co-written with Jan Hammer.

Rod Stewart's vocals on 'People Get Ready' are great as well.

Seriously, I couldn't name a Jeff Beck album.

Neither can I. He's one of those guitar legends that everyone says you should worship but I couldn't tell you a damn thing he ever did besides that song with Rod Stewart back in the 80s.

The height of his fame was long before you were born. Very long before you were born. Your mother was probably still in grammar school.

Still, for someone who is such a revered player, you would think I would at least know something from him.

Your mother never mentioned him? His album Truth was a big deal back in the late sixties.

Not that I can recall. I'm sure my parents knew who he was since the 60s were their high school and college years. But I don't remember either one ever being a fan or talking about him in any way.

Going by the poll results, Truth, Wired, and Guitar Shop should be the albums that I check out then?
