These should be some great games next weekend!

Agreed. Many teams in both conferences that played with heart and pride this weekend to earn their places in the postseason. No reason to think that any of the teams still alive will lay down like dogs. Should be fun.

I’ll be watching the Bills for sure.

I'm going to watch my first NFL game of the season tomorrow. I want to see this Josh Allen that I've been hearing aboot lead a violent beatdown of the Miami Dolphins. 1:00pm, on CBS I believe.

The Dolphins are going to blown out today. Their fans might want to hope none of the 4 realistic scenarios that put them in the playoffs don’t happen. Because then they’ll get humiliated in the playoffs. Yet again.

I hope you have Sunday Ticket so you can watch some meaningful football today instead of the Jets-Patriots.

The Dolphins fan ridiculing the Patriots fan about meaningful games.

If all I had to watch today was the meaningless Jets Patriots game I'd probably scan the TV listings to see if there was some soccer on.

You should watch the Dolphins Bills game. If the Dolphins win they’re in the playoffs.

Just our luck, the Bills are coming off a bye week.

Getting nervous? You should be. Your favorite team is doing what they've done for a generation. Sh*tting the bed when it counts.

New year, same old garbage "Fins."

Brady's going to the playoffs again, though. They must have a great system in Tampa.

The Sun-Sentinel had a field day reporting on the Dolphin Demise. General screwups, "who do we consider on draft day ?" " WTF happened? ", etc. Fins beat writer Orlando Kelly had a good piece questioning if Tua is the end all an be all he was touted as. As you said m8, same old garbage.

Added: Dolphins OC Chan Gailey gets it in the ass. Fired.

Edit: Apparently the information about Chan Gailey being fired, which I saw go across the ESPN bottom screen ticket while lunching at a bar, had not been fully checked out, and was put out by mistake. He apparently was NOT fired. ESPN announced they "regret the error."

" Come on ya motherf--er get your right foot right! "

My New England Patriots aren't making the playoffs for the first time in a very long time, but I just want to take a moment to congratulate all the teams that played with heart and pride today and earned a place in the playoffs.

Get used to it.

Got any tips? Experience is the best teacher after all.

This is more from observation than experience, but if you want to emulate the rest of your "fan base", root for the Bucs.

You have to hand it to them. They've had a lot of lean years. But they showed heart and pride as an organization, and now they're back on top. Good for them.

Stopped paying attention already, I see. It's hard to blame you, they were pretty much unwatchable.

I thought the Dolphins were totally in the septic tank this season like many seasons recently but while listening to LeBatard's final show on ESPN they did deep Fins talk. Apparently, the Fins were decent this season occasionally showing some promise.

Guy who uses "Fins", jerk or no jerk?

The first time this century they were under .500. And your team has the exact same chance to win the Super Bowl this year.

The Dolphins have not been an NFL caliber franchise for about 30 years. They missed the playoffs. Again. By getting humiliated. Again. They’re garbage.

Again.

As someone without a dog in this (rather entertaining) fight, I would suggest being careful about knocking the Phins' future chances at playing good football. #3 pick in the draft and more good picks and some young, talented players. They do, like every other franchise, have to get the QB position right though. Don't think Tua is the guy myself.

they've been trying for years, by attempts through draft picks, such as "suck for Luck" and "tank for Tua"- deliberately lower your standing to get a higher draft pick.

Yeah. The Patriots haven't done a very good job at fielding a competitive team lately. And by "lately," I mean this century which is 20% over. But you're right, they did finish 7-9 this year. That's better than 7 Dolphins' seasons in the 21st century. Sorry, I'm going with Bill and Mr. Kraft on this one.

LABT and I have fun with these battles, since we're allies everywhere else.

I do think the idea that the Patriots are now a garbage franchise, when they had a number of key players out this year (aside from the departure of Brady), is crazy.
