Congrats to the Dodgers!

They proved to be the better team in the most screwy year we have lived through...

With that said I knew when Cash pulled Blake Snell for that POS Nick Anderson the Rays were doomed! That dude is the worst pitcher in the Rays Bullpen!!! It will definitely be the most talked about decision here in the local media (& maybe even the league). Oh well it is what it is. The one thing I have learned over the years is win or lose, ya still gotta go to work the next day lol.

There's always next year...

GO Rays!!! :sundog:

It was even part of the post-game player interviews, lol! "Congrat's on he win, Kershaw. So, what did you think of the move to pull Snell?" Hilarious!!!

Figures....Magic is there. What a douche.

And Fox kept showing him, like he was a visiting royal from across the pond They can't resist showing us those types of shots all game long, like making sure we see Jerry Jones' every facial expression during a Cowboys game.

And man, were they drooling over Arozarena ALL GAME last night. Yeah, I get it, he's a rookie and he's popping dingers like no one else before him, but Buck and Smoltz wouldn't shut up about him, and I was waiting for Fox to put a picture-in-picture window in the corner of the screen so they could show the "hero shot" closeup of him for the whole game.

Awfully classy of the Dodgers to give Kevin Cash a ring and playoff share!

Seriously, that move was right up there with Pete Carroll in the Super Bowl. Slave to analytics.

Seahawks fan here and this really......really......REALLY..........is so sadly true I got nothing. :(

Is this the modern way to manage a baseball game? Is it all bean counting now? How about when you have a pitcher in there who's only thrown 74 pitches and is dominating in a do-or-die World Series game, you leave him in until he gives you a reason to take him out, especially since Snell had completely owned that upcoming part of LA's lineup all game. Allowing one runner shouldn't be panic time.

Nope. It's all about 3rd time through the lineup and arm velocity dropping after X amount of pitches type of crap.

That's what I mean by bean counting. 3rd time through the lineup? And he just put a runner on? Gotta pull him, the book says so!

Wow. Turner removed late in the game for a positive covid test. So he can't even celebrate it.

Oh, but he can. He was on the field after the game. A test he took on Monday came back positive during the second inning yesterday, so they tested him again which also came back positive and they finally pulled him out. He was allowed to play with a positive test and took part in the post game celebration. Makes sense.

Inexcusable, since young elite athletes are one of the highest-risk demographics in terms of mortality.

He was sitting right next to his manager who is a cancer survivor, which makes him higher risk. I may have to go into quarantine tomorrow if it turns out my coworker who I worked right next to tests positive. I'm not all that worried about myself, but my son has asthma. He would have a much harder time with it. Being out there without a mask was a Dick move.

Yes but isn't Turner's personal freedom and the fact that he's a young, healthy athlete more important than that pesky cancer thing?

The Milwaukee Brewers have officially said Buh Bye to Ryan Braun. :ebert:

"Brauny" has ten years of deferred payments coming, so he has that going for him, which is nice.

Now reading reports Turner was belligerent when told to isolate. Assuming Manfred has sobered up from Tuesday night, he's probably going to face some kind of discipline.

Nope. No discipline.
