Gene and Paul should handpick 4 new, talented musicians with a knack for mimicking the personas of the original four. Call the new band “KISS Alive”. Gene would get his dream of the band never dying as it continues on in these talented clones. Replace the clones as needed and press on until all the money possible is squeezed out of it! It’s the Gene Simmons way!!!

Yes, it’s a tribute act. But they’d be handpicked at least. Also, audiences get the benefit of not having to see old, fat guys in face paint and leather struggle to sing Cold Gin and Detroit Rock City.

I think Kiss needs to retire. After Paul, and Gene are no longer with the band, and group, too, not having people, and musicians be replaced as members. The band, and group still hasn't ever been the same, since it wasn't the original members of Ace, Peter, Paul, and Gene, anymore. Edited by Derek19

My friend once saw Kiss on their farewell tour back in 1996.

That must have been 2000

I'm not a fan, so you're probably right. All I know is that it's been a couple decades since the band said farewell yet they're still doing it. I wonder if Ozzy is upset that Kiss has stolen his thing?

Another band that has destroyed their legacy years ago like Aerosmith and Beach Boys and I'm not even a fan and most of the blame goes to Gene with his selfish my way or the highway attitude towards the rest of the band and it's fans. Their rock and roll hall of fame induction is further proof. Edited by invisible airwave
