Wolverhampton's Adama Traore has received call-ups from Spain and Mali to play in international fixtures. Which team would you choose?

Well, if I wanted to play, then Mali. If, however, I also wanted to win . . .

He's in Spain's starting line-up today and looks like he's had more than a few donuts in his life. :atickhum:

And the final score: Ukraine 1 Spain 0 :eh:

Another De Gea error, they tell me?

I blame the Spanish defense more for allowing the pass to an almost wide open forward. De Gea could have stay in net, but still it would've been a very dangerous opportunity for the Ukraine.

Poland 3 Bosnia 0 :) Red card to Bosnia after only 15 minutes played helped the situation. Lewandowski with two goals...could've had six. Poland tops the table.

What were England up to? Denmark is a super country BTW. All my favourite TV shows are from there, and I bought some underpants with the Danish flag on just last week

Yet another defeat for N. Ireland. This Nations League has been a disaster for us.

At least this time it was only 1-0. There's progress. :ebert: In other news, Iceland becomes the first team to drop from group A. Looking at their opposition, it was to be expected.

That'll teach them to play in all blue. What is this, San Marino?

You just know that some knob got the Danish and English flags confused and was standing there waving the wrong one with all his might.

The biggie now for us is the Euro finals qualifier in November.......... if Covid hasn't had a say! It's all kicking off here again (no pun intended)! Edited by zepphead

Slovakia lost to Israel at home yesterday. No worries. :atickhum:

The Czechs are not that far ahead of Slovakia. In fact, they just lost to Scotland. :gumby:

Wisla and Cracovia, both decimated by injuries and the virus, with nice wins this weekend, especially Wisla, after a 6-0 destruction of Stal. It got so bad that after the 4th goal, the TV station played a supporters' chant that could loosely be translated into " F@*k, play better, Stal." I think the sound director overdid it that time.

I wonder what Spurs could do without their defensive-minded coach.

...and there`s still something naively beautiful about how it makes no difference who plays, or coaches us, or the stadium we play at, we`re oh so Spursy!!

Fabianski had a nightmarish first 15 minutes. What a collapse by Tottenham in the last ten. The tying goal was a cracker.

What a bizarre game! Spurs seemingly home and dry only to collapse in a spectacular fashion. A fairly disastrous Saturday for Liverpool - the wrong end of too many bad decisions and the potential loss of Van Dijk for 6 months or more - not good! My son-in-law (an Aston Villa fan) is on cloud nine!!!

If I wanted to support a team that needed fewer than 4 goals to be sure of a win, I`d be a fan of.. errr... any ideas who that is these days? Villa result was a surprise, but not quite as much as Pickford not only staying on the pitch, but not appearing in front of a magistrate this morning. I can see a massive upside to Liverpool without VVD and Alison as it`ll be like they were three seasons ago. It`s actually properly open, like the PL promotional material pretends - anyone could win the title from 10th up and I suspect it won`t take 98pts this year!

Yes I agree ..... could be an open title ..... unless someone can string a bit of consistency together. I do think though that there will be plenty more 'upset' results.

Bayern starts its new Champions League campaign with an impressive 4-0 win over Atletico. :)

A bad night for both Madrid teams! Poor result for Real Madrid v Shakhtar!

Mostly good results for the English clubs although Chelsea will be disappointed with a draw.

From what I heard, Liverpool can't be very happy with its performance in Amsterdam. Lucky to get out of Dodge with a 1-0 win.
