goose
Both are kind of repetitive, tbo. Paranoid's aged better, though.
zepphead
Paint It Black is great ... but .... it's the Sabs for me!
pjbear05
Paranoid, by a wide margin. Great timing for this as I happen to be re-reading John Michael's autobio, I Am Ozzy.

Texas King
I'm a much bigger Sabbath fan, but I'd take Paint it Black easily here.Paranoid is a very ordinary song to me. Paint it Black is not ordinary at all, it's really special.

Paint it Black is not ordinary at all, it's really special. I was about to post something similar. I would take Sabbath over the Stones but Paranoid is a rather ordinary and straightforward song. Paint It Black isn't and is very unique in its composition. Which is a bit of a role reversal here since Sabbath were more of an outside the box band than the Stones were.
Rick N. Backer
Paranoid's one of those, "I'm a real fan so I hate it," songs. I love it. Paint it Black's great too. But there's a good reason both Live Evil and Speak of the Devil close with Paranoid.

Entre_Perpetuo
I like Paranoid as much as the next guy, but The Stones were first for me, specifically the early Stones. Besides, that bass line in Paint It Black? Demonic.
